The only good point is breakfast menu

Bad smell dirty old-dated wide room Too old furniture with really bad smell and bathroom Breakfast was amazing( variety, amount, staff,..) Shuttle service is really extra good Kettle and soaps were available in the room.

Nice facilities but poorly maintained

Check in was poor - no information shared. The carpets in the hallways were grubby; even I noticed the dust on the skirting boards. The room was well equipped but again not clean. The kettle was thick with dust, the carpet and bathroom floors were not clean. The curtains didn’t cover the window as the curtain rail was broken. The air conditioning appeared to be working but was ineffective. We had a buffet dinner. The food was ok. The staff were friendly. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Brilliant staff and very accommodating after a flight delay

We originally booked the Novotel so we could see some of Cairo before heading to Aswan and Luxor, but our flight was cancelled and we arrived a day late. The hotel was so kind to just move our booking to the next day without any fuss, which was a huge relief. Since the delay left us with only 18 hours, we could only fit in one site, but we made it to the Grand Egyptian Museum—it’s incredible and shouldn't be missed. The only real challenge was the arrival. At midnight in a strange airport, it’s a bit daunting trying to find the shuttle. We had to get airport staff to call the hotel because our phones weren't set up yet, and we waited about 50 minutes. There were literally 60-70 buses passing by, so it was hard to know which one was ours! For anyone else going: look for the bus with the hotel name clearly written on the side. It would be great if the hotel could tell guests exactly which door to stand at for each terminal to make it less confusing. Once we got there, the staff were amazing. My elderly mother was exhausted and has mobility issues; they fast-tracked our check-in and immediately got a wheelchair for her, even letting us keep it with us in the room. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The lobby, restaurant, and breakfast are all lovely. The room was fine, though the corridors are looking a bit tired and could use a refresh. That said, the service was top-notch. Getting the shuttle back to the airport during the day was much smoother and very easy. The staff really turned a stressful travel situation around for us.

The hotel is located only a few minutes' drive from the Airport. This is so convenient for the travellers, who need to transit anywhere from Cairo. Special Thanks to Hayzayousry, who gave us a big, warm welcome after a long flight from Asia. Secondly, thanks to Abdelkade, who helped to solve the problem during our stay. I would say both of them are outstanding in the hotel. We have consumed their breakfast and lunch at the restaurant, their foods are delicous and the services are good. Never judge the book from the cover. However, they should focus on their housekeeping, rooms are not so clean, and it needs to be improved.

Egypt air put us in this hotel after they had us missed our flight in a transit connection. After I got sick, they moved us to the renovated section of this hotel but first theyput us in a room full of molds, dust and chipped floor and walls.
