Centrally located in the Sukhumvit area, this fabulous hotel was ideal for visiting major shopping and entertainment venues. It’s also a short walk to Asoke or Nana BTS (skytrain) and MRT Sukhumvit (subway) stations. The large outdoor swimming pool is ideal for relaxing and the pool staff are great, regularly handing out sun screen and very welcome iced water. The hotel is 16 miles from Suvarnabhumi International Airport but if the traffic is congested it can take up to an hour to travel. The rooftop bar & brasserie, Belga offers stunning views across the city and not to be missed. Access to Club Millesime was well worth the little extra cost. A quiet area for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal with wine and cocktails certainly hit the spot. The service by Macky and his team was fantastic. Thanks to Gift for helping us with check out just in time to meet our airport transport.

The staff at Sofitel Bangkok has been great. Especially the lounge staff, including Khaow, Gift, Windy, Tide, Mscky, Sunny, Friend and Nan Nok. They are friendly and always helpful. They are also always attentive to details. We totally enjoyed ourselves during our stay.

Sofitel Sukhumvit offers a perfect combination of luxury and comfort. I was particularly impressed by the outstanding service at the reception. Khun Prang went above and beyond to find me the perfect room – truly an asset to the hotel. The evening service was also exceptional: every night, the room was thoughtfully prepared for bedtime – laundry was folded, fresh towels provided, and new bottles of water placed. (Room 1916 from 02.12 to 05.12.2024) A highlight of the location is the convenient and cozy walkway from the 3rd floor, which connects directly to the Skytrain and MRT Asoke station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, but from what I could see, it looked very appealing and well-presented. One aspect that didn’t impress me as much was the pool. For a hotel in this luxury class, there are definitely more visually stunning pools elsewhere. Despite this, the luxurious amenities and attention to detail made my stay an unforgettable experience. I’ll gladly return in February 2025!

I had a very short 3-night stay with friends, but it was amazing. I'm most grateful for the kind and attentive staff, the great room and facilities in the Club. The breakfast was delicious and the choice of wines in the club are also quite good. Well done. See you again on my next Bangkok trip.

I've been to Bangkok often, but it's rare to find a place with staff as friendly as Sofitel. The two single beds were enough for the four of us to stay together, and the juice they grind for us at breakfast was so fresh. The food selection for happy hour was small, but the quality was good enough to eat. I ran out every morning during my stay at gym, and it was nice that it wasn't crowded. In particular, the kindness and consideration of the Khaow staff made for an unforgettable and good memory.
