I would never recommend here or stay again. The rooms were tiny and absolutely boiling hot but you could not have the window open due to the noise. Also right next to a main road and the trams. Mattress didn’t even have a sheet on, it just had a topper on. The pillows were the worst l have ever slept (well, not slept) on. The bathroom was like an aeroplane toilet and was so dirty with lots of broken bits. The towels were like sandpaper. All in all a terrible stay. Much nicer hotels nearby for the same price if not cheaper.

The hotel’s pros: the location is generally good, breakfast is varied, and the rooms are spacious and clean. However, the most important issue that completely overshadows these positives is the indifference of the staff. Especially at the reception, where guests should be greeted with friendliness and hospitality upon arrival, the staff are indifferent and do not smile, which completely cancels out the other positive aspects. The staff, especially the women, seem like they are about to argue with you at any moment. When you tell the staff in the breakfast hall that the crepe machine is not working, is it better to hear “we’ll check it right away” or a careless “okay, but it’ll only be ready in 10 minutes”? (Especially considering that another staff member managed to fix it and make it usable in just one minute.) Cons: • No chocolate at breakfast. • No face towels in the room. • The pillows feel like half-used flour sacks. Not comfortable at all. • No tea/coffee set in the room. • No slippers in the room.

Decent budget hotel at a fair price.

A typical Ibis hotel, but more on the budget side of their range. A small room (620) with a bed, a desk, s sitting area and luggage storage. The bed is alright, but the pillows are very soft for my preference and there are no harder ones available. The carpet has seen better days. There are signs of wear and tear everywhere. The shower has a decent pressure. Floor tiles in the bathroom are cracked. WiFi is reliable, although you have to login again every 24 hours. No safe or fridge. There is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Tram to the city centre is within a five minute walking distance or alternatively you can walk to the centre in fifty minutes. A shopping mall is around the corner for breakfast options if you don't want breakfast at the hotel. A couple of lokal and affordable restaurants are in the area. Cheaper than in the centre and at a better quality. If you only want a bed and shower for the night without having to pay much, this is your place.

The Ibis Mala Strana is nicely located not far from the historic district. There are good restaurants near by and a good shopping mall. The staff is nice and this is not by chance that I choose the Ibis Mala Strana when I come in Prague. Thank you very much to the team

Very small room (328)

We booked room for 3 ppl. (room number 328). There was no space to move around. Very small room! Couldn’t even pass each other. Wanted to contact reception late in evening but there was no instructions on the phone what number should I call. I tried „0” as this is option in many hotels but no one answered . (Tried few times) Went to speak with reception next day in the morning, and I been told that it is „0” to call them. 🧐 Reception staff nice and friendly. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Orange juice no taste!
