We didn't realise this hotel was quite so far away from the city itself - however there is a frequent bus from virtually right outside the hotel to Centraal Station. Staff friendly and helpful and room adequate and clean. Only criticism is a dog barking in a room nearby in the small hours - sign in lobby says, as seems to be the norm now - we welcome dogs. Fine but provided they don't disturb other people! This dog thing is getting out of hand - they are allowed in pubs and restaurants - in my view, if food being served not on. As for barking in a confined space? Wetherspoons - love them or hate them, have banned dogs! Sorry for rant - hotel fine!

Very helpful staff! Gave us alot of advice about public transport options and what to do in Amsterdam. Great breakfast with alot of choices. Rooms are nice and tidy with a large shower. In the room is also a safe, free to use. We will choose this hotel next time for our trip.

Racist Behavior by Reception staff upon asking for paper cups.. Said no. Very Racist staff.. No respect for Indians here.. Told me to go away. I am travelling with my kid 6yrs and mom 67 yrs senior. Very uprofessional and racist behaviour...

Reception staff are available 24/7 and happy to assist guest with any requests that they may have. Guests are then invited to collect any requested items, such as additional towels or indeed cups from the reception area. I am sorry for any confusion that this may have caused. The room was nice and spacious and bed comfortable. Facilities were clean and staff lovely and let me leave my baggage after I checked out. The only downer is that it’s the last stop on the metro from Amsterdam Central so takes over 30 minutes. But bus is only 25 minutes. It is a good stop if you are going Zaandam, the closest main station is Sloterdijk. It is also near a mosque. But there’s no local shops.

Cold breakfast, filthy room carpets, nice staff.

We booked 3 rooms over Christmas, the staff were lovely and there is a Burger king next door. Great mini snack selection and the coffees from the bar were good. However €35 for a cold breakfast wasn’t good, the sausages looked raw and the eggs although boiled were runny yolked and had been sitting around a while. The toaster didn’t want to toast, the orange juice was powder but so watery that it was literally just water. Really really disappointing and I’m so glad on a 5 day trip that we only fell for buying breakfast once, an expensive mistake! The room size was good, pillows were not. Bed was comfy. Very noisy outside, probably linked to having a Burger King next door. Not sure I’d stay there again, the carpets in the room were really dirty and I didn’t want to tres on them then get into bed so put a towel down over the really soiled areas, in the room next door (312) my son said he thought there were vomit stains on his floor. Need to complain really but the staff were so lovely that I didn’t want to upset the one on duty the morning we left. Amsterdam as always was wonderful but wouldn’t use this hotel again
