Best hotel in Amsterdam!

I stayed here in September, 2023. I came alone that time. I was well taken care of and I felt very very safe. This hotel is located in the perfect place in Amsterdam… Around everything. I came here this time with a male friend. (I am female) we had a delightful time and if we didn’t know how to go to go anywhere or do anything we were well helped by the staff that Swiss hotel. We had an amazing time because if we couldn’t figure anything out, we were well guided and safely given advice on how to get places. I would definitely recommend this place again. Ask for Marc. By the way, their croissants are hot. I talked my friend into staying here and he does not regret it whatsoever!

Swissôtel Amsterdam’da check-in saati 15:00 olmasına rağmen, odamız saat 17:00’ye kadar hâlâ hazır değildi. 16:00’da gittiğimizde “10 dakika sonra gelin” denildi, tekrar döndüğümüzde yine beklememiz istendi. Bu süreçte resepsiyondaki görevlinin durumu son derece normal karşılayan ve umursamaz tavrı ayrıca sinir bozucuydu. Misafir memnuniyetine önem veren bir otelde böyle bir ilgisizlik kabul edilemez.

Pricey but worth paying for the location!

The hotel is the 2nd shop from dam square, which cuts through the city centre. About a 15 mins walk from Amsterdam Central station (where we took a bus to Keukenhof). It’s walking distance to many good eateries and 10-30mins to museums (Anne Frank, Van Gough) It also has a tours and tickets next door, where we got our last minute canal cruise tickets. Fast fashion shopping is found along the street behind the hotel. Luxury shopping is opposite the street. Our room doesn’t face the street, so we didn’t have the problem with noise. The room and toilet were small but had the basic necessities. Although the room was cleaned, towels not replaced. Breakfast selection was limited, so it may be a good idea to eat out. All in all, you are paying a high price for convenience of the location.
