2nd Novotel on recent visit and 2nd poor experience. Worst aspect was breakfast. Overcrowded due to limited time slot, stuffy room and no COVID measures being taken at all. Hot food was either burnt or uncooked. If was going to get ill on trip, it would be here. Rude male staff member on arrival seeming to object to our arrival time (2nd female staff member was lovely though). 2 towels for family of 4. Tired room. Comfy bed and great location were redeeming features.

Novotel - bad experience

We asked separate beds for 2 nights the beds were made like it was a double bed, unacceptable. The 2nd time we had to ask for the correct sheets (Monday night) and as the reception stated no service was available we had to change and make up the beds ourselves. Also we left some papers related to our voyage on a table which were thrown away. Also own shower cap + handtowel were removed from the room. The shower door is not fully extended leaving an opening resulting in very wet bathroom floor we had to continuously clean. Also toilet paper lacking last day..

The only issue we had was finding the reception area. Looked more like going into a cafe when we entered and reception could be on another floor. It was on the ground floor but behind us as we entered. Other than that, the stay was good.

It is my second stay in this hotel. It has been upgraded, is in very good shape and very well located. Unbeatable quality - price and service. Just one thing that could improve, I booked an executive room, which included minibar and nespresso, where there was literally one bottle of water, one cola and one orange juice for the whole stay, so not even a chance of choosing two people the same drink, and same think for the nespresso capsules. I guess it makes sense from a waste point of view, it is a courtesy, not a drink buffet, but I found it quite short. Staff were friendly and helpful all through the stay, very efficient with check in and check out. Will certainly repeat when in Paris.

Well located close to the train station of Montparnasse and to the metro stations. This hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great. The staff is friendly. For Paris the price is acceptable

Hotel has great location, super customer service, great Brkfst and late night coffee. Short walk to the Pasteur Metro and right next to gare montparnasse. Suggest to get a room in the front to avoid noise in the rear. Highly recommend local restaurant Café templier a few steps away, best kept secret in Montparnasse.

The staff at this hotel are awful. Rude, sullen and unhelpful. Reception area looks makeshift. Breakfast was a joke. Insufficient tables and ran out of cutlery and glasses and napkins and pastries. Cook your own eggs?!! Not value for money. Better to eat breakfast out. Worst novotel I've stayed in. Will return to Paris but not to this hotel due to awful staff. Location is not bad and rooms are clean.

The hotel is in a good location around a busy area (you just need to walk around to explore it), room was a bit small for a family of four however this was expected for a room in Paris. Service was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good and satisfying stay

The hotel is located centrally........ the room was big enough to accommodate the 4 of us. The sofa cum bed was big and comfortable. The breakfast spread was good but there is room for improvement..... overall very satisfied with my stay.

Air condition does not work

27 degrees outside and the Hotel is not able to switch the air conditioning on for the Hotel rooms. Even after speaking to the hotel manager, who promised to switch it on, they did not. So they even lie to their customers. What a shame for Novotel. If you need to save money, you should never do it at customer site!

I stayed four nights for a business trip. The check-in was quick, and I managed to get a room even though I arrived at 9am. Room was spacious and had a beautiful picture of a red fox in the snow. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate spread. Only issue I had was I kept having trouble with my card to gain access to the lift to bring me to my room. Otherswise, it would be a five tick rating.

Nicely located hotel , just outside the center . The metro is within 10 minutes walk. very friendly personnel. check-in and out was very quick. Breakfast is complete, but was extremely busy so we had to wait each day to be seated.roomservice and bar were very good too.Parking is very very tight. Tip for improvement, make housekeeping take the leftovers from the room-service from the room when they make the beds. it's not very nice to return in a smelly room with french fries standing on the cupboard all day.

I, together with my entire family, have had the worst experience ever at NOVOTEL PARIS CENTRE GARE MONTPARNASSE.1) FRONT DESK MANAGER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, His name is Fabrice, in fact he was extremely insolent, I question how Accor HR did their work on him before engaging his service.2) I had called the front desk to ask about the sofa bed, Fabrice just cut short the line and said "Yes, a staff will be there" without listening much to the issue and hung up the phone.3) Upon Checking out, Fabrice insinuated that my wife and I were trying to short change the hotel for 2 beers. He even threw the invoice across to me over the small table which he could have just passed it to me by hand.4) An additional note: At Check out, he asked for my room card, and I told him I had left it on the table in the room. He told me to go get it. I have NEVER ONCE been asked to retrieve a room card. I am an ACCOR GOLD and my Business partner holds a Platinum Level, and I checked with him and he said leaving room cards are NEVER an issue.5) His attitude is UNBECOMING of a representative staff of ACCOR and for this, I expect actions to be taken and I want an update, even from C level personnels.6) House Keeping Staff - Pretends to act like they don't understand or speak english. Trust me, they all do. I requested for an additional towel, and he said to me" I don't speak english" in ENGLISH.Should anyone wish to stay at this location, please do not spoil the potential ACCOR experience by getting served by Fabrice, look for Karima who is and was VERY ATTENTIVE.ONCE AGAIN, if there are other options for travellers to stay at other locations, please do so, and avoid this location due to bad front desk staff and house keeping staff.

I booked about about 20 nights for a Group at this Hotel. Before Arrival informed about the names and the reservations and received a confirmation that everything is confirmed and well noted.As arrived, one Reservation couldnt be found. after 1h finaly a room was allocated.Next day, call from the reception that they would pack the belongings as they Need this room!!!Can you imagine this???? Never experienced something like this in my entire life!

The hotel is modern and good looking, nice buffet breakfast, the rooms have USB outlets to connect your smartphone so no need to worry about carrying an adapterI had a minor health problem and the staff at the front desk was helpful and made a few phone calls to assist meThe area has a lot of business places so it makes it convenient, close to the Metro as well The only complaint I would have is that the bathroom door was notable to close properly, other than that, it is a good property

Nice hotel, location near gate mobtMontparn but not too close and you should walk 7-10 min to reach the station (not easy with kids!). The breafabre is acceptable but the plates are rarely 100% clean (there is some résidu !! Wich is not acceptable).

A superb location to explore Paris. Great price which included a fabulous breakfast. Daily entertainment during breakfast which the children loved. Smart rooms, clean and modern. A little small for a family of four, worth upgrading to executive as our friends had teenagers. But overall a very good experience. Lovely lobby/bar area to meet in. Restaurant food was good, though a little pricey once adding on sides. Would recommend and stay again.

Super hotel, great rooms, good locations, lovely bar and good food in the restauarant. Fantastic breakfast and really helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a great base for visiting the Eiffel Tower (30 min walk) and the Seine, Versailles, the Louvre etc. It's only a 3-5 min walk from the main train station and nearest metro.
