The room was very comfortable if a little dated. The staff were fantastic, really welcoming but the smell of damp in the bar/restaurant was a real turn off. The facilities were great but the moss on the pathways made me a little nervous. The meal we had in the restaurant was very good quality. A pleasant stay.

Puka Park never fails to be a great place to stay. I must have been here at least a dozen times. And the restaurant always has a great menu. We booked 3 units for 3 couples and got them next to each other.

Loved the location and local scenery. Great restaurant food and friendly staff. Lovely upgraded chalet EXCEPT for the serious hazards. I did burn myself having first shower due to scalding water. The unlit pathway to unit 32(?) with steps that could not be seen at night was high risk. The uneven floor inside had to be trod carefully to avoid a fall. Another less serious issue is that the kitchen knives would have trouble cutting butter. Other than that it was very good.
