This was a repeat visit. We were given a chalet in the approximate location we requested and made to feel welcome in all respects, from the cheerful receptionist to a welcome gift in our room. I'm not a fan of most House Wines [!] but the rest of the wine cellar would cater for most tastes, while the dinner menu was varied and dishes well presented. There was fast reliable Wifi wherever we went in the resort, including in the vicinity of the heated pool. Generally there sufficient loungers by the pool but it would help if there were more than 2 umbrellas to provide shade. All the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We look forward to our next stay.

We stayed at Puka Park as part of our 21st wedding anniversary road trip, having first stayed there on our honeymoon. The tree hut was beautiful inside and it is in an idyllic location. Breakfast was delicious and it was great to be able to borrow bikes so that we could cycle to the beach and around Pauanui .
