Overall a lovely resort with nice rooms and very friendly staff. The check-in experience wasn't smooth unfortunately. We didn't know there isn't any staff at the resort after 22:00. They tried calling us, but we can't receive phone calls on roaming. This is likely the same for many other international visitors. Staff said they had also emailed us, but we never received an email. It would have really helped to know up front what the check-in procedure is like after 22:00.

Staff were friendly, restaurant was disappointing. Clearly food came out a bidfood or Gilmours van. Expensive for what it was. No imagination and no accomodation of certain food intolerances. Not what we would expect from a Grand Mercure. Such a beautiful setting for dinner and would have expected a much higher quality of dining. Breakfast was nice.
