Excellente

The hotel met and even exceeded our expectations. We were kindly greeted by the lady at the entrance who explained us how to reach the beach on foot (there is a shortcut it takes less than10 minutes to reach the beach). The room is very simple but enough, the double bed was comfortable and it was very clean (please be aware that hair dryer is missing). Rooms on the back side look into a quiet path and field, however, our room was a bit noisy (cars background noise) as it looked in the front side, towards the main road. However, the view was beautiful, onto the front garden ornamented with a row of palm trees and flowered oleanders, and isolation was great and with the window closed nothing could be heard. We found the breakfast in good relation price/quality, with a good variety for continental breakfast (French croissants were specially delicious) and could be enjoyed under the pergola in the garden.

Horrible. I was in an emergency. Was so alone in a place I didn't know. Couldn't speak to language. Tried to call taxi etc. Even called emergency button in hotel for help. They told me no and hung up the phone. Couldn't reven get a water to take important medicine as I didn't have enough change for the vending machine. I only had notes. No one around to even ask. Terrible night

All good, better than expected

Basic hotel but very clean rooms with on suite shower. All is modern and working well. For a short overnight stay it is extremely good value for money compared with what is on offer in the area.

It didn't start well. We arrived at 16:45, hot and tired from 8 hours on a motorcycle, to find the registration machine was not working and we unable to book in. The reception opened at 17:00 and although the person running the place tried her best she couldn't book us in either she couldn't access the system. I was not happy! We were eventually allocated 3 rooms with emergency passcodes. Unfortunately these rooms were on the second floor and furthest from the reception which made transferring our luggage very tedious. The next day we were given new passcodes. Unfortunately one of our party forgot to carry his new code and on returning to the hotel after 21:00 he was unable to gain access to his room. We tried the "urgence" button but even though our French is not bad we couldn't understand the helpline operator. In the end I collected my paperwork from my room and used the, now working, online system to get the code. There must be a better helpline system. If someone forgets or loses their code and do not have access to their booking reference they would be stranded. The rooms and the hotel were fine but it is inexcusable to not have a backup system in place and our experience will make me more wary in the future.

Great to be back at St Cyr. Excellent location, just a short pleasant walk to the promenade and beautiful views over the bay. I had a good time at the hotel, staff were friendly and very helpful and would have absolutely no complaints. I can't wait to get back next year.

Found the room on the small side, but clean. We were pleased that the room service was every day - clean towels, bedsheets changed, rubbish disposed of. We liked the extremely helpful staff /managers who made us feel welcome which made a real difference compared to other non-ibis hotels we've been to. Lovely people with a great sense of humour and a lot of dedication for their job. We liked breakfast as well - a nice selection of food (fresh baguettes, croissants, cereals, nutella, jams, yoghurt, cakes). The hotel is approx. 8 -10 min walk from the beach. Overall we enjoyed our holiday very much and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was great, but we were slightly surprised to find our shower not within a bathroom! We were colleagues sharing a room and this made things slightly difficult! It would be good to have this clearly noted in the room description so people have the chance to choose a different room if one is available. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!
