We stayed almost 3 days, it was all great the rooms are good and staff was great as usual, this property has vot an awesome pool, Breakfast food Quality needs to be enhanced a lot but staff service compromise the food quality and the old tools

I have commented last Aguust-19 about the flies that are really annoying and they did something about it and Im really happy about it. The food at breakfast are ok but not many options.the staff are helpful and friendly.

I tried to find fault so I could reduce the star rating but no fault could be found, good hotel perfect location for industrial area and a small piece of tranquility within the chaos of Cairo traffic. I really had great service from friendly staff at Novotel. I requested a non-smoking room (A really difficult thing to get in Cairo) and the team moved heaven and earth to accommodate me in a genuine non-smoking room.

I was upset when the front desk asked my husband and I for a copy of our marriage certificate. Married for 30 years never been asked for this. if its policy of this country there should be alert on the website to notify us before we make any reservation

I requested for Ironing stand and have to wait 45 minutes even after repeated follow up calls by 6 times. They brought it very late. I've to skip my breakfast due to this delay, as I was running late.

Terrible service in hotel, especially restaurant. Staff too busy chatting amongst themselves to say hello, get me table, bring menu or take order. Main meal arrived, or rather dumped, on table half way through starter. Rip off taxi fare at Concierge. I'd only go back if no alternative was available.

Novotel October is my best location to escape from the work stress. Best Place to spend time with family, the hospitality of the staff is ver nice, the food variety is good. The heated swimming pool is wonderful

Terrible check-in management

I made an online reservation to stay at Novotel, 6th of October, Cairo, for which I redeemed 2000 points, and then received a confirmation email. At the check-in desk, the officer and his manager insisted that I should have had a voucher in order to enjoy he discount. They also couldn't find my reservation, claiming they don't have Internet conncetion. I then shows them the confirmation email on my computer, using my personal 3g connection, and still, the manager said "I need the voucher printer". At the end they fixed the issue, but that wasn't a pleasant experience.

Although the 2000 points redemption was fixed later, but nevertheless, please accept our apologies for such unfortunate incident Mr. Ghassan, we appreciate your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Good points - Comfortable beds Good selection of TV programmes Room service menu as well as the quality of food & punctuality of delivery. Reception Staff Ok Negative points - Shower in room broken. Water splashing in the bathroom during shower. carpet looks old and not very clean Plate I used previous night was still lying in my room when I returned for my second night. Bin was not emptied either. Had to remind the cleaner on the following morning to do so. Only oranges & melons for breakfast. fruit juices taste more like squash. Quality of pasteries was poor. Gym - Treadmill broken. Crosstrainer old and noisy and does not appear to have been serviced. I did not feel value as a Privelege Platinum member. I have other premium Gold & Platinum membership with a few other hotel groups. I have always received premium high qulaity service that include Room upgrade, and the fantastic breakfast with wide selection on the menu + freshly squeezed orange juice. I wanted to try an Accor hotel so chose the Novotel in 6th October instead of the Hilton. It was a mistake. when I checked in I was told that the hotel is completely full. However there were very few people at breakfast or in the evening during my entire stay. I was planning to book 7 nights at the Pullman Kuala Lumpur from 24th to 31st May and another 7 nights in Bangkok (sofitel/Novotel) from 31st to 7th June. But unfortunately my experience at Novotel changed my mind and I booked with my prefered hotel chains. Regards

Nice clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff. Main issues with this hotel are: 1) The room has good air conditioning but no heating, so in the colder months (like January & February) the room gets chilly and no way to warm it up. 2) The water pressure in the sink & shower pulses. Makes for a very odd experience particularly in the shower. Also if washing around 7am (I was there for business) the hot water doesn't get above warm making for a less than satisfactory shave. Otherwise all good.

Nice room & adequate facilities. Internet in lobby is free but overloaded in the evening. Internet in the room is overpriced for the region. Restaurant is fine. Useful fact is that the Mall of Arabia - the largest shopping mall in the Arab world, or so I'm told, is about 10-15 minutes walk away. The downside is that you have to cross a very busy road to get there. Still, I managed it and lived to tell the tale.

And regarding your comment about the way you went to Mall of Arabia from being dangerous following your point of view we do have a car rental service at a charge where you can enjoy a faster and safer option going to and returning back from mall of Arabia. Overall the hotel was good but it has got nothing very competitive compared to others 1) Food was good but not too match Variety 2) No entertainment 3) Kids park needs more attention, very dusty and old 4) Staff are really nice and welcoming, they offered my kids a complementary Teddy Bear upon entrance, also Pool rescurers are very sweet and friendly
