Checked in with a tour group. Luggage was placed in our rooms prior to our arrival. When we checked in we were given a room. Upon entering room we found luggage from another couple in room. Went to desk as they were giving same keys to that couple. Gave us our keys and only 1 bag in room. Back to desk and reported. Said would check. Half hr later back to desk and front desk seemed like he didn't know what we were talking about. Reported also to tour manager. He talked with desk and we were told they were checking other rooms and vacant rooms. No luck. Next day we were told to file police report. Officers showed up at 1130 pm. Next day as we were coming back from a local tour we overheard a gentleman say he found a bag in the room. Yep it was ours and directly across the hall from our room and in block of tour rooms. Desk clerks response was oh well I guess I missed that room! Your bartenders were great and breakfast staff were good. Front desk clerk we dealt with needs a refresher in customer service!

Decent four star hotel. The front desk staff is not always overtly friendly, but professional. The staff at the bar is friendly. Because of my Accor All status, I was upgraded to a privileged room (511) with a free minibar included, which was a nice gesture. The room was big enough with a comfortable bed and a fridge plus safe provided. And the shower was good. You can skip the daily clean and get some extra loyalty point added to your account when you do this. There is some outside noise, because the hotel is close to a flightpath in and out of Lisbon Airport, but nothing significant. The room insulation is good. A five minute walk to the Sete Rios station and the blue metro line taking you downtown in ten to fifteen minutes. Alternatively you van walk in forty-five to fifty minutes to the main sights in Lisbon, but be aware. To the centre is mainly down hill, back to the hotel is mainly up hill. For the €60 to €70 a night, yes it was low season, paid for this hotel, this stay was a good price-quality ratio. For this price (or even a little higher), I would book this hotel again.

We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready for check-in, no bar or restaurant open until supper time. Hotel was clean. After checking in there was a bad smell in the hallway, but luckily nothing in our room. The air conditioning does not work so the room was very muggy, had to leave window open and listen to traffic noise. Room was clean with a mini fridge that was stocked daily of small items like orange juice, water, and chocolate bars. Wi-Fi worked trouble free for us. TV uses local cable with no choice for streaming services. Short walk to the subway or to restaurants and bars. Short subway ride away from more dense shopping and eating areas. No fitness center or laundry services. Offers a very good breakfast selection

The location and price were very good. The staff was kind and all of the common areas were very nice. The main reason I will stay elsewhere is because the air conditioning in our room never cooled off. It was not so hot in mid-September, but a room without working AC in the summertime would feel unbearable. The rooms are functional and no frills. The hotel is old and it shows. Everything was clean, but the bathroom had stains that made it appear dirty. The bedroom had flourescent lighting and white linoleum flooring that made it feel like a college dorm room. Despite what other reviewers said, I thought the breakfast was great! There was a nice variety of items and they were replenished often. The staff at breakfast was friendly and helpful. It was great for an affordable trip to Lisbon with close access to the airport, but the hotel had zero charm.

Very dangerous bathtub/shower

This hotel needs to put safety handles in the showers and install non slide mats in the bathtubs. I had a serious fall two months ago. It occurred on our second day. I have good balance, and after an afternoon walking, decided to have a quick shower. The bathtub is extremely slippery and there is a movable glass door. The bathtub ledge is also very high. I lost my balance during a shower, and as there’s nothing to grab onto, I fell out of the glass door and the top back of my head hit the bathroom floor. This occurred two months ago and I’m still dealing with discomfort as I have a skull / nerve injury. Thankfully it doesn’t appear that I suffered a concussion and was able to complete my vacation with ice applications and continuous pain / anti-inflammatory meds. I hope the hotel corrects these very dangerous bathtubs and I encourage visitors to at least use a towel to prevent a serious accident.
