I attended a meeting & stayed five nights at a business hotel with a conference center nearby. I had two additional nights in Lisbon and wanted to see more of the city, so originally intended to move to another neighborhood, although I had not chosen a place yet upon arrival for my meeting. After walking the city in the extra hours after meetings, I decided to find something nearby instead and continue to explore this neighborhood. I had noticed the Ibis Lisboa Centro Liberdade, and looked into it further. I discovered that it was just what I wanted - a property with elevators and a wake-up call to get to the airport in time on my departure day, along with other services. I understand this property to be recently renovated. It is small and cozy. I had a nice room on one of the highest floors with a very comfortable bed, advertised as their "new bed," and the room was toward the back of the hotel, affording minimal street noise and a pretty nice view. I was able to open the window for fresh, cool air. The staff was very accommodating. The property offers food and beverage service in the lobby area, where you can sit at a small counter, or relax in a separate lounging area, or in a dining area where breakfast and other meals are served. The neighborhood both up the hill and down offers a variety of dining and drinking choices, great food & drink opportunities at excellent prices. I typically ventured out for sightseeing and a late lunch, then stayed in for a beer in the lobby in the evening. This was a cozy, relaxing place to end my trip - just what I needed! I would definitely stay again. I recommend this property to anyone wanting a full hotel experience at a very reasonable price.

The room was very good, spacious, well designed aesthetically with proper lighting. Bathroom was also fine with good shower. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The staff were polite and helpful. But one imp point because of which my overall rating is not "excellent" is that no kettle was provided in the room and no tea or coffee sachets with milk sachets.I stayed at IBIS Styles Walthamstow for about 3 months and all their rooms had kettle with regular refilling of tea/coffee sachets. Even IBIS Styles Amsterdam had the same facility, but this was not made available in both the Red IBIS and the Green IBIS Styles in Lisbon. I suggest that this arrangement should be or must be provided for the comfort of all guests.

We loved our stay at Ibis Lisboa Liberdade, it is a beautiful place to come back to after a long day of exploring. Its location is ideal, close to Avenida Liberdade but also in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Would certainly come back.

Our stay in the hotel was excellent. The room was very nice and provided everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is 15 minute walk from the centre of Lisbon. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Easy to reach by car and park in its underground garage (lift operated and somewhat tight), very modern convenient rooms at a good price, good breakfast and restaurants nearby, helpful staff - all add up to a very convenient hotel!!

Breakfast was even better than expected. Great idea to offer oragens so we can make our fresh juice. Excelent location, quiet but in a super nice area. Bath towels could be improved, better quality. Apart from that, I highly recommend.

Attentive staff and clean room. Reasonable price considering it is located in a great area of Lisbon , close to Avenida Liberdade, but situated in a quiet street. Room temperature was too warm and impossible to regulate individually for each room. The hotel offers a decent breakfast for an added amount.

Everything was great, the place is very quiet, clean and the staff are very helpful! They have a great options of food, wine and beers. They also have delicious Ben and Jerry ice cream as an option in the bar. A weird thing for me is that, when I asked for food I ate in the room and left the tray and so on there. In the other day it was still there. They do not took of the tray and the dishes of food of the room. I saw the the other guests leave their trays in the corridor what was weird as well

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, nice spacious bathroom with great shower. Room somewhat small but easily managable. Twin beds small, but bedding excellent, very comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet, fresh and tasty. Also possible to order 24 hours from their bar (excellent quick meals). This IBIS hotel is very well situated, 5 minute walk to Metro station. We don’t need a personal car to visit Lisbon. Somewhat pricy, but again we are in the center of Lisbon. We recommend this hotel.

The new bedding they have is quite comfortable and the rooms themselves are quite decent, nothing sizeable, but comfortable. The hotel is modern enough, but the facilities on offer extend to just a lounge area, a bar attached to reception and the breakfast area. Some of the staff were friendly than other staff, but they were generally helpful at least. The location isn't so central, but you can reach a central area within a fast 20 minute walk, so it's not far enough out of the centre to not still feel accessible to reach there on foot.

It's difficult to walk anywhere in Lisbon without encountering hills, but the location of Ibis Liberdade was about as good as could be, very central and well connected by metro stops to the rest of the city. We had a very warm welcome on our arrival, the room was clean and comfortable and an extensive buffet breakfast set us up for each day - the highlight being the opportunity to create your own freshly squeezed orange juice. It's fair to say there are no frills attached, but we were just looking for a base to use as a starting point for exploring Lisbon, and this Ibis served the purpose very well
