hot room - would not turn on AC

They may have AC but they will not turn it on. I found it difficult to sleep because the windows could only be cracked open a few inches and they would not turn in the AC in the hotel despite my room being too uncomfortable to sleep. If you prefer a cool room to sleep chose another hotel.

Good afternoon, Thank you to share your opinion about your stay in our hotel. I'm sorry that your stay didn't match your expectations. Regarding your comment, in March the hotel has not changed to AC yet, because the temperatures still changing daily and doesn't remain stable. Once the temperature at night will be also stable and there is no need of the heating any longer, we will make the change to AC immediately. Hopefully in this month there will be no need of heating any more and the AC will be available in the whole hotel. I hope even do, you give us a new opportunity to better serve you in a future. Bad customer service

In general this is a clean hotel but far from the centre and the metro. The keys to the room were discharged 3 out of the 4 days that I stayed and no it was not next to my phone. Also at 24/3 at 15:30 I returned to the hotel not feeling well. The key room again didn’t work and I had to go down from Floor 11 to the reception to ask for a new key and to use urgently the bathroom. I went down and a male receptionist was talking to other guests about the breakfast details. I told him that my key is not working and I need to use to bathroom urgently. He told me that he is speaking to customers now and to wait my turn. I explained it’s an urgency I need to go to my room to use the bathroom and my key is not working again. He yeld at me that I am rude and pointed with his finger the direction to the bathroom at the reception where I run to vomit. I returned and he said that I am rude and I had to wait my turn .. he started speaking in Spanish and I asked for the manager explained the situation with a help of another receptionist. And informed them about it. Nobody apologised.

I do understand that it was an urgency and the receptionist in that moment didn't prioritize correctly, and I do apologize for it. I will talk with the person to make sure that a situation like this one doesn't happen again, because our priority is always guarantee the satisfaction of all our clients. I've also talk with maintenance to make sure that everything is working properly in that room to make sure no one needs to come down to activate the key that many times. Clean and tidy

Me and my son stayed here for a weekend when visiting the city, Lovely room that was clean and tidy, AC worked fine. Beds are comfy and reception staff were helpful. Breakfast could of been a bit better, some warm cooked items would of been nice instead of the cold meats and pastries. Overall pleasant stay I would stay here again.

Till now I never seen such kind of hotel in my life. The service are very poor.WI-FI , rubbish No internet connection at all. Waste of money. It’s not worth it guys. Be careful. Don’t book this hotel. Be aware.AC very noisy,so did not get to sleep well. Totally crap. Do not book at this hotel,not even a single water bottle provide.no shampoo, dirty room, very old towells , We paid lots of money for this hotel in this kind of location.I make a reservacion for £332.80 but they charge me £ 355.07, The ignored my complain, If I could give this hotel zero I would, Definitely not as pictured The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been in. The reception was filthy and unwelcoming.The hall way to our room smelt disgusting, was the most horrific place I’ve stayed . Avoid this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding the amount charged, I can guarantee that in Euros, it is the amount that you had confirmed, but surely when making the conversion into Pounds at the time of booking, it differs from the time you stayed and paid. Staff were so friendly and polite, breakfast was amazing and so economical,the problem was that they didn't have safebox. And the room was not that much clean, but overall I recommend this hotel for short staying in barcelona.
