So on a positive point the staff were fantastic. I stay in a lot of Accor Hotels and have to say this was way overpriced approx £127 per night. (despite the fact the sign outside stayed at 69 Euro for the whole of my 2 night stay) That rate was apparently a preferred member price so goodness knows what it would have been otherwise. Room was ok, nothing to write home about and lacking any tea and coffee making facilities. Was it worth £127 per night not even close. Tiny TV, basic shower, basic furniture set up etc. Other than the room and the bar/restruant there are no other facilities. Be aware if you don't have a car and are looking to travel here from Brussels it's not the easiest of places to get too. Food was pretty good and as I said in the title super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast starts super early which is a plus. Truth is at this price I woudn't stay again as there are lots of other options in the area that offer far more for your money in terms of facilities.

The check-in is perfect as the fast check-out. A very nice personnel does the maximum to enjoy your Journey. A good adress in the west of Brussels. A quite night and a fresh orange juice at the breakfast.

I went to the dining room for a meal and sat there for quite some time and was totally ignored, and so I left. I asked for an early morning call and the reason I did not receive was that the telephone in my room did not work. As a result I missed the ferry I was aiming for and had to take a later one. Would not recommend it if you want a decent service.

The room was quiet and since we paid for the family room the size was enjoyable. The only small problem was the bathroom smell wasn't pleasant on arrival. But we had a small spray bottle for smells which made the smell much better plus we added water the the shower and sink drains.

I was driving from Germany back to the UK and chose this hotel for my stopover Aalst is a really nice little town and the hotel was great for me not far from the motorway and close to the town. The hotel is in a nice quiet location and the rooms are the good Ibis standard.

I was pleased with the situation of the hotel just off the E40 m-way, and it was perfectly situated for my cycling rendezvous at Herzele on the Sunday morning. I received a warm welcome on arrival. My room was very spacious and at the back of the hotel, so it was calm and, coupled with the comfortable bed, I had a good night's sleep. I used the underground parking at night (paying). Good choice of food at breakfast and with service starting at 6.30 a.m. it suited me perfectly. Fast check-in and check-out worked well.

Hotel, food, drinks all quite good. Staff excellent.Room, not so good. Power saving lights not good enough to read by and, one flickered! Shower door twisted so leaked into bathroom. Shower itself, very little pressure.

Pokój był tragiczny, Sterownik klimatyzatora tak brudny, że strach dotknąć, zresztą nie było po co, bo i tak klimatyzacja nie działała. Zgłosiłem w recepcji we wtorek, do piątku nic z tym nie zrobiono. W pokoju jest po prostu ciemno, oświetlenie zupełnie nie zdaje egzaminu. O szafie to się nawet nie wypowiadam, co to za dziwny pomysł z otwartymi szafami? Sprzątanie nie odczep się, zabiłem pająka w poniedziałek, leżał sobie spokojnie obok szafki na widoku do czwartku (specjalnie zostawiłem ,żeby sprawdzić kiedy zniknie). Zasady korzystania z parkingu są idiotyczne, rozumiem opłatę, to jest ok, ale żetony na wyjazd? Serio? XXI wiek kazał pozdrowić obsługę. Będę odradzał znajomym, na szczęście w Aalst jest spory wybór hoteli.

Cleanliness of the room as expected,. Location near the highway, but quieter than expected. Very good breakfast: a lot of options (cheese, ham, sausages, jam, pastries), and with natural orange juice!

We have booked and paid a family room (double/ king size bed + 2 single beds room), however, our room was changed to a 2 single beds without refund and explanation. The room was dirty and cleaner smoked and left a tab end st outside window. Mattress is cheap quality and uncomfortable. Never stray again. Avoid!!

Once again we had a great stay in this Hotel. At times the front of house staff were under pressure due to the volume of people wanting checking in together. Breakfast was very nice and the menu was varied.

The Hotel is real average. Rooms are more the quality of a young hostel. The soup spender in the bath were empty. Very limited space for hanging clothes. Very good breakfast. On morning the lock at the door was not function. It has taken an half hour and a technician to solve the issue.

Ibis in Aalst is convenient, good location and free parking. However, the staff is surly, and the receptionist's attitude on checking me in was bordering on the rude. A welcoming smile would not go amiss! Room was very hot and airconditioning thermostat was stuck on 20 degrees. Windows open, but being on the front of the building the road is very noisy. Liked the laminate on the floor.

Our overall experience of this hotel is a positive one. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of car parking spaces in the underground parking area (although not that great if you have a high car. Disabled access was fine although door from car park quite narrow and not much turning space to get into the lift. Space in reduced mobility room was excellent. We had one night of disturbed sleep which resulted in my partner having to go down to reception at 4.15am to complain. Other than that that we had a good time.

Very friendly staff, nice room and breakfast. Easy access to and from highway, location outside the city center helped to avoid morning traffic. Free parking is also nice bonus. Overall very pleasant experience.

Hotel convienient location for motorway, pleasant room, very helpfull and efficient manager. The young lady on reception was magnificent not only booking in 2 coach full of people, she also run the bar for food and drinks!!!!!! Should be given her a pay rise.

This hotel was not far from the motorway and check in was very quick with friendly and polite staff. The breakfast was first class with everything available that you would possibly want. The rooms were a bit small but as it was only one night that was OK. The bed was very comfortable.

Very helpful staff, clean rooms, limited menu but good food, ideal location for travel stopover. Great value for money. Breakfast buffet superb. Secure parking. Have visited twice and will use again. Relaxing break after a long drive.
