The hotel is good for a night or two, and for convenient access to the trains. If you’re planning to stay longer and not for business purposes, I’d suggest staying at one of the hotels closer to the Grand Palace. We never felt unsafe here, even though the area is gritty and urban. Rather, it’s at least a 20 minute walk to the Grand Palace, and walking back is the last thing you’ll want to do after doing a walking tour. Instead we took an Uber which cost less than 10 euros. As for the room, it was functional, but minimally furnished. There is no safe, no fridge, and breakfast is available, but not included. The elevators only work with a room key, so there is that safety aspect. It seems a lot of guests didn’t care about the hotel’s lack of extras since upon arrival we were greeted with a sign indicating full capacity. In our case, it served its purpose so we have minimal complaints.

Hotel is opposite Gare Midi so great if you are arriving / departing via Eurostar or train. The area isnt the greatest (I dont think I would have felt 100% safe walkinga round on my own at night) but its what we expected given the location in the city centre near a busy train station. Hotel is large and busy, but staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. We didnt book breakfast, thers plently of places to eat nearby that are cheaper. Room was spacious, clean and perfectly adequate for our needs, but the shower wasnt the greatest expereince . The shower didnt have a proper door (weird design) so the floor got wet and there were dark hairs left in our shower from the previous occupant. Its about a mile walk to the Grand Place (which is defintiely worth a visit) but if thats too far for you to walk theres a metro station around the corner. The metro proximity means you can get around the city easily. Whilst staying at the hotel my husband became ill (Sunday morning 16th Feb) and the gentleman on reception was amazing - he got an ambulance there within a few minutes and did all he could to help. I really can't thank him enough for his care and understanding

Cieszymy się, że doceniła Pani dogodną lokalizację naszego hotelu, który znajduje się naprzeciwko stacji kolejowej Bruksela-Południe, będącej przystankiem międzynarodowych pociągów, w tym Thalys, Eurostar i ICE. Jednakże, z przykrością przyjęliśmy Państwa uwagi dotyczące czystości, zwłaszcza w łazienkach. Przykładamy wielką wagę do utrzymywania naszych pokoi w nienagannej czystości, dlatego też jest nam bardzo przykro, że w tym przypadku nie spełniliśmy oczekiwań. Ponadto, zauważyliśmy Państwa komentarze na temat obsługi i pragniemy wyrazić szczere ubolewanie, jeśli nie poczuli się Państwo odpowiednio docenieni przez nasz personel. Nice stay, lousy luggage service

Lodging + breakfast were fine. Nice, large room with good facilities. Storing your luggage on the leaving day was a disappointment. While free at most hotels , here the charge was 4 EU in total for a locker, used for 8 hours.

As a tourist, I was sooooo impressed by the hotel's location and saved hundreds of euros for transportation as I used the metro for my daily activities. Recommend the hotel to others and I will book again next time.
