A nice hotel near the station. The reception area is bright and airy. The check in was speedy. The room was big with a king size bed with good quality bedding and pillows, both very comfortable. Adequate storage for a short stay. The room had a desk for working at. It had tv and wifi. The bathroom was very clean with a good shower. I didnt feel there was enough lighting in the bedroom The breakfast buffet style with plenty of choice.

Very convenient to Brussels Zuid/Midi station. Great for an overnight stay when travelling from the U.K. to Central Europe by train. Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Room clean and well maintained. Comfortable pillows and bed. It is true from previous reviews that outside the hotel is not the best area of the city (but very few cities around their railway stations are) but it is only a very short walk (1 minute) from station exit to hotel entrance.

A great location as we were travelling by train, the hotel is right across the road from the Eurostar Brussels midi (zuid) station. The area around the station is scruffy with lots of people hanging around but we didn’t feel intimidated or worried by it. The hotel itself is fabulous inside, the staff are lovely and the room was massive, clean and very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. The only negative is that to leave luggage there is a locker system that costs either 6 or 9 euros depending on the size of locker (we opted for the largest and got 2 large backpacks and 2 small rucksacks in and there was spare room). It’s the first time we have ever paid to leave luggage. The main attractions of the city are about a 20 minute walk away, it is flat and an easy walk. Would recommend.

Even at check-in the woman was rude and asked me to wait until she dealt with someone else who had pushed in. Room was basic, no tea/coffee facilities in room, no complimentary water, which, after many years of traveling is usually an expectation. Room was clean, although cleaners did arrive quite early in the morning. Toilet had constant running water which was annoying when trying to sleep. There was some external noise in the early evening, although the room was on the first floor . To leave luggage costs 6 euros, payable by card only. Was followed by two young “men” in the neighbouring metro station but when they were clocked they became more wary so managed to evade them. Admittedly not a hotel problem but it’s in the immediate vicinity.

Disappointing. Need to remove the mold from the bathroom.

The hotel was quite disappointing. The bathroom shower had mold on the tiles and the ceiling. It was exteemely gross. There were also two roaches in the bathroom. Do not stay here.
