I stayed at the Pullman Midi for one night for a conference. On the plus side, the room was clean, the cafe downstairs was nice, and it is a very convenient walk from the Eurostar. The WiFi was also good for work purposes. Check in and out were efficient. On the negative side, the room had a lot of wear and tear. Nicks in the doors, a wall socket hanging down, and flaws in the bathroom mirror. You can hear the trains going by and the door could use some sound insulation. The elevators are awful - expect to wait for an extended period of time. The location leaves much to be desired. This is not a place to walk around from a safety standpoint. I would not choose to stay here again unless I had to for work or conference purposes.

Arriving at a premium hotel in the capital of Belgium and Flanders, one would expect to be able to check-in in the major language of the country, Flemish. Not so, I was firmly told either French or English. Unacceptable. As a Gold Accor member, I had fully paid months in advance, not refundable. I expected an automatic upgrade to a spacious room, but got rm 822, a cramped space if you are traveling for 2 months and have substantial luggage. No upgrade for you ! On the positive side, the Pullman sits virtually inside the Midi Train Station, which was extremely convenient for us. Also, the bar and breakfast area on the 1st floor are really pleasant. We had a relaxing evening there with good drinks and a decent Caesar Salad. The breakfast selection is rather limited, but of excellent quality with real juice, creamy yoghurt, salmon, crunchy bread, waffles and delicious Danish pastry. If the Pullman looked better after their members, this would be a better score.

We booked a full day tour of WW2 historical sites in Holland/Belgium, and chose Pullman Hotel for the location. Was a perfect choice for us. The hotel is connected to the Brussels Midi train station, so easy access. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Actually exceeded my expectations. There is also a separate restaurant/bar that opens later in the day. Our room was spacious and clean.

Charged three times with different amounts, charged wrong amounts in the past - avoid!

When I checked into this hotel last night, the employee told me that I had three rooms booked (which was not true). When I asked him how this happened he told me it was "just an error on the system". Today I wake up to find out that they actually charged me three different times, with different amounts (thankfully the last one was declined by my bank). So I called up reception and the extremely rude receptionist told me I should send her a screenshot of my banking app (she should that most banking apps don't allow screenshots for security reasons). I am still shocked at how unprofessional the staff at this hotel is. If I spoke to my customers this way, I would be out of a job. Not to mention that I am a regular guest at this hotel and they are literally treating me like an idiot. Unfortunately, they have charged me wrong amounts in the past. Avoid this place at all cost!

This was my first time in a Pullman hotel, I spent 3 nights there. I expected a higher service level compared to Mercure or Novotel, but I'd say it is better, but not much different. The room was really nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good especially if you want to use public transport, trains, trams and busses are very close. I booked the hotel on the same price as it was offered by the Mercure on the other side of the street. On this price it was a good offer, but if I had to pay more, I would have booked a room at the Mercure.
