The Best Way To Ring In The New Year Is At The Savoy!

My New Year's Resolution this year is to try to surround myself with people who spread positivity, give me hope and make me laugh and smile. I'm off to a great start because my sons and I rang in 2025 at the Savoy hotel in London. My boys and I have spent the last few years celebrating the start of the year at The Savoy. Nothing beats The Savoy. Everything about the hotel is IMPECCABLE...and I mean everything. The moment you approach the front door you are greeted with smiles and a warm "Cheerio and Welcome". The check in always goes smoothly and the front of the house folks are friendly and helpful. The beautiful guest rooms are comfortable and spotless. The lobby and common areas are stunningly decorated, warm and inviting. The restaurants and bars have top-notch service and delicious food and drink. The spa has the most luxurious swimming pool and the gym is very well-equipped. The Concierge team is top notch, the best I have ever worked with - they are always so willing to give fabulous advice/make reservations for restaurants and things to do in London, and they are able to get tickets to events, theater and, in our case, lots of soccer games (and they have fun banter with us on our soccer teams, which makes us laugh). Last but not least, the whole Savoy crew is IMPECCABLE - every one of whom is friendly, helpful and made our stay perfect, as they do every year. We have built personal relationships with the people at the Savoy, many of whom we now consider our friends! One more thing...location, location, location. When you exit the front door of the hotel you are a stone's throw from Covent Gardens. When you leave through the back door you are on the Thames. We walked everywhere because The Savoy is optimally located (walking distance) for so many London attractions. We can't wait to ring in 2026 at our favorite hotel with our favorite people!

I stayed here with my mom last January 10-13 and I was happy and satisfied with everything. The minute you arrive there will be staff in front to assist you with your luggage. Check in process went smoothly and the check in receptionist was very knowledgeable about the hotel (forgot his name) he was very kind to give us a little tour of the hotel before we settled in our room. For the breakfast at the gallery, the place is stunning. I was able to remember one staffs’ name at the reception at the gallery her name is Julia, very welcoming and friendly. I also would like to commend one staff (forgot her name as well) she has curly hair I think, she was very friendly and attentive and was always asking us if we wanted anything else and would refill our drinks constantly. The bed and pillows were fantastic. The daily housekeeping and turn down service was superb. Nice heated bathroom floors. Although as an Asian I was looking for a bidet which I think is not common overseas. Overall, We had a lovely stay at the savoy while we’re in London. Will definitely come back.

Some good old consumer advice. I conducted a wee comparison between some of the very best hotels in London of which the Savoy won. Hands down. They serve the best Old Fashioned in London. I'm sorry Corinthia and Ritz. Nice, very nice, but not as nice.

Blown away. Started visiting here once a year 6 years ago. We now visit 3 times a year! From the minute you arrive to the minute you go you are blown away by the staff and hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. We dined at the Savoy Grill and the food was 1st class. Special mention to the lovely Hannah who has the biggest most welcoming smile, to Rob on the front door who is just amazing and finally Ben! He is a credit to the Savoy. Looking forward to our next visit already.

There’s truly nowhere like it. We come to London solely to spend our time at the hotel. The team are so lovely and kind, the food is incredible, and the suites feel so homely and cosy. Me and my husband don’t get a lot of time away from work, but when we do we know our time at The Savoy will be the very best use of it.
