Room was horrid, stains everywhere and things broken and overall just very poor standard, didn't feel 'comfortable' and had a terrible night's sleep. £150+ for 1 night is just terrible. Wouldn't have paid anymore than about £40 in all honesty.

Nonetheless, you can rest assured that your comments have been discussed with our Head Housekeeper and Maintenance Engineer so all needed actions could be taken to prevent re-occurrences. Note that our rates increase when major events are happening in Manchester. This is a common practice applied by the hotels in the city. We would still remain in line with our competition and 1 of the best value for money property in the area. Room was tired, and in need of repair, damaged sockets, doors, and handles and knobs missing. Air con didn’t work, making sleeping nearly impossible. location is good, but there is better hotels near by. Breakfast was cold, and coffee machine kept breaking down, not much selection. For what you pay.

We are sorry to hear about all the issues you've encountered with your room and you can be assured that they've been looked into immediately in order to be addressed promptly and avoid re-occurrences. We were surprised that none of your findings were reported during your 2 nights stay as the Team would have certainly been able to help to solve some of the problems. Moreover, we were puzzled not to find any damage sockets or missing door handles & knobs during further inspections. May I also clarify that our hotel is equipped with an Air Climate Control system (NOT Air Conditioning) which is linked to the outside Temperature and only blow warm or cool air accordingly. As we understand this may not suit all our guests, portable fans or heaters are available on request. This is explained in our Welcome Letter. Your feedback concerning your breakfast experience has been discussed with our Food & Beverage Team so a similar situation doesn't happen in the future. Thanks again for sharing your comments which will surely help us in our continuous effort to improve the quality of our products.
