Great location adjacent to Albert Dock. I thought the parking at £10 per day was steep. Just a short walk to the city centre. Hotel is smart and clean. Room was basic and small, as was the double bed. Twin beds would have been better with hindsight. Bathroom was fine, with a good shower. Stayed three nights, had evening meal the first night. Fish and chips were awful, so no more evening meals there. Breakfast was ok, but coffee was far too weak and I'd prefer real fried or poached eggs to the powdered tasteless scrambled eggs. Not cheap, but it was July. Would probably try to find somewhere better next time.

A very basic hotel room.

The rooms are very basic at this hotel. You will get a bed, a towel and one electrical outlet. The breakfast, however, is good, with an excellent selection that is replenished quickly. The tables are also cleaned as quickly as possible. The selection for the evening meal is quite limited, and the fried food, such as the shrimp, is too crisp. It should have been taken out a minute or two earlier. On the other hand, the side salad is attractive and tasty.

Pay For What You Get, Nice Bright Hotel In A Great Position For The Docks

Stayed for a midweek three night break. Lovely hotel, clean and reasonably priced. The staff on reception were a little laid back and not much was explained when booking in. The breakfasts were very good and a great coffee machine! We did run out of toilet rolls and they had none spare at reception, I was presented with a giant roll that goes into the machines in the public toilets! The biggest nightmare was the keys not working for the doors. Friends we were with had to go up to their room three times with three keys and in the end the receptionist had to go to try and open the door. Every time anyone was at reception it was to get their key programmed! Due to location and price we would happily stay again.

The rooms were quite small but enough for what we needed and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were lovely and well stocked. The staff were lovely. Really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of it. Close to all amenities. Lovely seating area outside. The only negative was bins outside weren't emptied overnight so the seagulls had been in them and scattered rubbish everywhere. It took quite a while for it to be cleaned up. I would definitely stay again.

Item disappeared while staying there. CCTV evidence but no response

I stayed at Ibis Liverpool Centre Albert Dock, and unfortunately had a personal item (blue Hollister shorts) go missing from my room. CCTV confirms I wore them into the hotel, and I reported the item missing while still staying there. Management acknowledged my report, said they would investigate with housekeeping and laundry, but then completely stopped responding to my follow-up emails — including one sent over a week ago. I understand mistakes can happen, but the lack of resolution, poor communication, and refusal to offer even statutory compensation under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956 is disappointing and unprofessional. I expected better from a hotel under the Accor brand. I’m now having to consider the need to pursue this through the small claims process just to be heard.
