We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed our central location, the welcoming atmosphere created by our team, and the complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby — people-watching from there is indeed a guest favourite! We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the room didn’t meet your expectations on this occasion. Room 401’s position within the internal courtyard can unfortunately mean less natural light and, as you experienced, some background noise from the building’s systems. We completely understand how this could impact comfort, and your comments regarding the flooring have been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for urgent review. While we wish we’d had the opportunity to assist during your stay, we do appreciate your honesty and understand how easy it is not to raise concerns in the moment. Please know that we’re always happy to try and find solutions or alternative rooms where possible.
