Excellent hotel and large rooms

We stayed in a superior suite with double bed and sofa bed. It was very large with a separate bedroom which was huge and a separate living room. Was a great place to stay. Very convenient location. Staff were very helpful.

We had a bad start to our three day trip with our flight being diverted and we did not arrive at the hotel until 1 30 am. We were very tired and hoped for a fast check in but was told we owed an extra 680 euro which was a shock as we had already paid approx 360 euros. The guy on reception told us the amount we had paid was just for one night and asked us to pay the rest. We spent half an hour discussing this until we finally said we needed to sleep and would discuss in the morning. I didn’t sleep as was worrying about what had happened however the receptionist the following day advised we owed nothing and didn’t understand why we were told different. She told us to go and enjoy breakfast. I asked if this was included and she advised yes. The next two days were enjoyable, our room was lovely however on checking out we were told to pay an extra 150 euros for breakfast x 3. I explained reception had told us it was included but the guy on reception told us he was sorry but there was a lack of training in the hotel and they were wrong and we had to pay. I didn’t want to ruin the holiday by having a row but felt upset about the treatment from the reception team. The cleaners and breakfast staff were very good however with the rooms being very clean and a good choice of breakfast available. Just be careful when checking in and out.

Good Hotel in a quiet location despite only being a 5 minute walk from Checkpoint Charlie and the U Bahn station. Large rooms complete with, strong free WiFi, fridge and a cool decor. Make sure to bring swimwear to use the sauna on the top floor to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel bar has a selection of local draft beers. The Bitburger is extremely good! All main sights in Berlin are walkable from this hotel. A really good base to explore the city.

This was a great hotel. Stayed here for the Berlin Marathon, and it was perfect. The location is great, walking distance to many attractions. Easy access to the transit. The rooms were large and comfortable, and it was a very clean hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing. One of the best I have ever had.

The good points first. Great location, 2 minutes walk from checkpoint Charlie. Now the bad. We reached correctly at 3, their check in time. Rooms were not ready , we were asked to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, when we went to ask them , they said 15 more. At that point, we said that it was not right. So they gave a room. This was a twin one and not a double, which was our booking. Then we said that this was not our booking, they said come down, we will give you another.This time, it was a double , but a much smaller room with the toilets also out dated. So, when we phoned and told them, they said come down again. At that point, we said you come and show it, we cannot go down again, This was again the same as the first. So, now we opted for the smaller one. No apology for making us wait, short changing us. Felt cheated. Bad choice.

Dear Rajupras, I sincerely apologize for the deficiencies and human errors that unfortunately caused inconveniences for you. It sure looks like there were some major flaws within ourcheck-in procedures. Sorry to also learn that our hospitality was less than satisfactory. I appreciate your honest critique which will be the basis for discussions within our local team - and a careful evaluation of the root of these problems. Rest assured that we will take necessary measures so that an experience like yours will continue to be the rare exception. On a personal note and on behalf of my team, I would like to ask you to come back once more for an opportunity to prove to you that we can do a much better job.
