Clean and tidy room. The pod style bathroom makes me laugh but it's functional. The barrister in the bar area where the where I had my a la carte breakfast and coffee was delightful, cheerful and very attentive.

Lovely, helpful and obliging staff at reception, restaurant, bar and housekeeping. Nice 'vibe' ...and an electric car charger that fits my car! I stay in Auckland regularly, but have no need to be downtown, so Ibis (short stay) or Novotel Ellerslie (for longer stays) has become my 'go to' accommodation.

Everything was clean, everyone was professional the only thing was the bathroom was a surprise. I've never stayed anywhere with a cubicle bathroom and I didn't enjoy that.
