We’ve stayed in a number of Ibis properties but this one just didn’t hit the mark of basic but okay. The carpet was ripped in places, the bed was overly soft, both the bedroom and bath spaces were oddly cramped, and many of the TV channels were unavailable due to poor reception, according to the message on the screen. “Threadbare” might be an apt summary. On the positive side, the underground parking was good as was the location - right near the wharf.

room was great for overnight stay, issues at checkin when asked for early - was told very grumpily that 2pm was check in .... car park was also an issue and told that i didn't have one until i showed confirmation on my phone room was booked with car park.

The hotel is okay to stay but not spotless clean and hasn’t provided bin liners and disposable toiletries.

Regarding bin liners and disposable toiletries, our hotel has adopted more sustainable practices in line with Accor’s environmental commitments. In 2022, many of our amenities have been intentionally designed to reduce single-use plastics and unnecessary waste. For this reason, we provide reusable waste bins and refillable bathroom amenities as standard. Should guests require additional items during their stay, our team is always happy to assist on request. That said, we are concerned by your comments around cleanliness. While our housekeeping team works hard to maintain high standards, there is always room for improvement, and your feedback has been shared with the relevant team to ensure closer attention moving forward. We also understand your perception regarding value for money and appreciate you sharing this perspective.
