Overpriced, basic and noisy

I paid $255.57 for the loudest and most basic room I have ever stayed in. Don’t ever accept 650. It’s right behind the lift so that’s all you hear all the time. The second single bed was so close to the door it would hit my daughter if she had been in bed when it was opened. There is nothing nice here. Go somewhere else for this price.

Poor customer service. Due to flight cancellations beyond our control we could not make our booking. When contacting the accommodation and explaining the situation we requested a credit to stay at a different time. Flat out refused. The accomodation was paid for by family members as a birthday gift. Very disappointed with the outcome

We offer two types of reservations: Flexible, which allows for changes or cancellations, and Non-Refundable/Non-Cancellation, which is typically a lower rate but offers less flexibility. Most guests choose the Flexible rate for situations like this. If you booked a Non-Refundable rate, we recommend checking with your travel insurance to see if you can claim the lost funds. Location good - hotel a bit tired.

The location is good - just behind DJ's and very central. But over all this is an average hotel that is now past its sell by date. Interiors are dated and a bit random. Not what I'd expect for the price given we've done better in Melbourne. At least our room was quiet.. aside from the aircon which sounded like a turboprop aircraft. Not sure we will be back again.

Positive notes - Friendly and helpful staff - Great location Critical notes - The rooms are not sound proof, i recomend bringing earplugs and eyeshades - I stayed 3 nights, they only clean the rooms every 3 nights. I wish they cleaned every other night. - My room had a window, but my view was a concrete wall
