We went this trip celebrating my partners birthday in Novotel Barossa. It was sweet of the team upgrade the room with chocolate and cake prepared when checked in and we truly appreciate it. Room was comfortable with great view to see the pinky sunset in mountains. Food ordered to room was delivered on time and delicious. There are many activities in hotel, which is perfect for leisure.

We used to stay regularly, however haven't for almost 10 years; it had started to get a bit rundown. This stay, we were really impressed. The resort must have been upgraded/refreshed since we last stayed, and is looking much fresher. The staff were all amazing; so friendly and helpful. The kids loved the buffet breakfast! The rooms were well appointed, clean and the views from the balcony are always amazing. The location is great; close to the towns and everything you need whilst feeling nicely secluded at the same time. The pool was better heated as well, which made the kids happy! We will be staying again and recommend for families as well as singles and couples. The only down side was the restaurant menu for dinner; we were hoping to eat there but weren't that impressed with the options. This is one part that used to be amazing and we would always eat dinner when staying.

Had a great time with my wife. Special mention to Pranav And Joseph for organising everything. The guy who checked us in was wonderful and a delight to talk to, I think Jose was his name. The breakfast Hostess was lovely. However the team serving in breakfast can do better in terms of attitude. The dinner team were the best of all, Esther and Esa (i think) and the lovely lady at the bar serving drinks. Will definitely recommend everyone to stay and will come again.

Really enjoyed our stay. All staff were all so welcoming and helpful. Love how every room has a balcony to sit enjoy the view with a bottle of wine and some cheese. Really had fun at the free wine tasting, met a group of other quests there and Julie the host was fantastic.

My room was not cleaned to the level anyone would expect. In the base of the shower there was someone else’s black hair. Definitely not mine as I am blonde. Which made me question how was everything else cleaned. I strongly encourage staff to double check that the room including the floor of the shower doesn’t have another guests hair left.

We do have a process in place for supervisors and managers to reinspect rooms after they have been cleaned by our Room Attendants; however, clearly on this occasion the inspection was not as thorough as we would expect. Finding hair from a previous guest is understandably unpleasant and would naturally make you question the overall cleanliness of the room. I have shared your comments with our Housekeeping Leadership team to review and address, particularly around ensuring bathroom and shower areas are checked thoroughly before rooms are released to guests. Beautiful views, lovely food, close to winery and a nice drive to shops. Would definitely came back. Was no mushrooms for breakfast !
