En uygun fiyatlı odalarda bile terlik varken mercury gibi bir otelde olmaması ilginç. İsteyince verildi ertesi gün ama ilk gece geç geldiğimiz için otele, terliksiz zor oldu odada konaklama.

4 günlük rezervasyon yaptım. Fakat gelmeden önce ancak 2 gün kalabileceğimizi farkettik, özel bir başka işimizden dolayı. Refund olur mu diye sormak için bunu gelmeden ilettik. Bize "gelir gelmez 2 gün kalacaksınız değil mi" deyip kalan 2 günde odayı başkalarına satmak istediler. Rezalet bir kar odaklılık. Mercure otellerin kar odaklılığı tam bir rezalet.

It was one of the most old fashioned hotels and the rooms were from the 70s, including the bathroom which even does not have a curtain, forget about any shower glass. breakfast food was ok but the breakfast area was so small that you might even touch the other guests while eating. The worst part is I have booked for 4 days, but before we arrive we realized that we have to cut it short to 2 days. Even though they didn't refund the remaining 2 days, they tried get rid of us after two days. So just to checkout late I had to lie that we will be staying for 3 days.

We stayed at the Mercure for 3 nights from 9/9-9/12. The location is very central on the Place Jacobin with a beautiful fountain. We stayed in a Prestige room with a small balcony overlooking the square and fountain. The king bed was very comfortable and the room a good size. The staff is professional and helpful. Our plan included breakfast which had a large selection of fruits, juices, breads, and cheeses as well as eggs and breakfast meats. My 4 star rating is for the crowded setup in the breakfast room with having to get around people constantly. Although the decor of the hotel is drab and could use updating, the hotel and rooms and clean and well-maintained.

Well located right in the heart of Lyon within easy walking of everything Rooms are well appointed and staff are great with lots of good recommendations for cafes bars and restaurants all within easy walking Shops too many to mention
