I spent three days traveling alone in Lyon and the staff at the hotel helped make it a memorable experience. The location on a beautiful square was exceptionally convenient and the room was impressively quiet. The room was spotless and having seen some of the smaller rooms I would recommend the room upgrade. Prior to my visit, I received an email with some useful information and the staff was able to help me secure a reservation in advance for a restaurant that I was very interested in. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A very enjoyable stay in Lyon with my sweetheart Michelle. The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Lyon and convenient for the metro, tram and rail networks. The rooms are comfortable and quite well appointed. There is a small bar area and breakfast room. Although there is no restaurant as such, the hotel is close to many restaurants and bars that are within easy reach. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay again on any future trips to Lyon.

This hotel wasn't quite as grand as we had expected. The room was clean and quiet and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay but could have had a bigger selection. The main advantage of the hotel is the location, in the centre of the city and in walking distance of many of the sites.

I stayed here for one night celebrating my birthday. The hotel put balloons and cookies and a lovely birthday wishes note on my bed to see on arrival, totally unexpected, I was so nicely surprised. My room was very clean, spacious, it had free minibar, lots of light from the French windows, lovely bathroom. I have specifically requested to have a room with a bath and on check in the lovely receptionist said this has been considered. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay xx

Found Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux Arts Hotel via Trip Advisor based on the solid reviews and affordable prices. This was a great find for us -interesting architecture and design, super-friendly staff, nice rooms, good amenities, and great walking-distance location to the parts of the city we wanted to explore. Would Highly Recommend and will stay here again on our next visit!
