Some of the staff were nice, some were not friendly at all. Beds were ok. The bathroom needs a renovation. The breakfast selection was very modest. Just like the quality of the ingredients. Parking is a disaster.

I had a good experience staying at the Mercure Hotel Dortmund. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was really great! The shower was nice and there were enough towels. The products in the bathroom were also nice. I liked that I had two chairs, a nice desk and also a side-table to the chair, so I could organize myself nicely. The water kettle is a great thing that enhances the room. The wardrobe is great. There were two minor points that I wasn't crazy about: - The carpeting. I'm generally not a fan of carpets on the floor, as they tend to retain dust even when they're regularly vacuumed. - The lack of outlets. There were no outlets near the bedside tables, so I had to charge my phone on the outlet near the desk. There was also no free outlet to plug in my laptop, so I had to unplug the corner lamp...
