The lobby was beautiful, but the rooms themselves could use some touch-ups. The paint by the window was peeling; the carpets have seen better days; and it's hard to keep velvet pristine. I stayed in a King room over looking construction. I actually didn't hear any construction noise as the soundproofing was pretty good. Even though I had a King bed, it was technically 2 singles pushed together which is not uncommon in Europe. There was a mini fridge, kettle, and Nespresso machine in the room as well as a safe. The front desk was friendly. I was able to store luggage after I checked out, but they don't allow you to eat outside food in the lobby. There are tons of restaurants nearby, but I liked that it was a quieter street than other areas of South Bank.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at the Mercure London Bridge Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. A special mention goes to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Mathew at reception was the first to welcome us, and he made the check-in process seamless and pleasant. He was attentive and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. Anissa, Anica, and Joana were wonderful throughout our visit, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Their friendly and professional demeanor added to the overall comfort of our stay. It's clear that they genuinely care about the guests, and their dedication to excellent service is commendable. Paramodh was another star of the team, always available with a smile and ready to assist with any request. The room itself was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and quiet, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring London. The attention to detail in the decor and cleanliness did not go unnoticed, making our stay all the more enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future!

Rooms ok clean stayed 2 nights with work had room service first night and the food was terrible steak mushy and cheesecake soggy 2nd night decided to give the marco Pierre restaurant a go but no better I had the butchers choice which sounded great yet it was more like a slice of steak served with a few sweet potato fries . Service quite slow to be fair , Breakfast was ok but nothing to shout about .
