NO WAY - GIVE THIS A BIG MISS!! small crappy rooms. Restaurant food is sub rate and not value. The staff are friendly, however seem to have hands tied behind there back! I so wish we had not othered. Im very surprised Accor allow this one in thre stable. ,

We spent two nights at this hotel in a family room during the Easter holidays. The location is good, a short distance from Southwark tube station on the Jubilee line and well placed for the attractions on the south bank. The hotel is modern and the room we were allocated was a good size, with a double and two single pull out beds. The bathroom had a bath with a rain shower, and the kids were beside themselves when they discovered you could make the glass screen between the bathroom and the bedroom alternate between cloudy and clear. Not a feature I have ever seen anywhere else" We were staying on a room only basis. I would normally go to a nearby Wetherspoons for breakfast, but there wasn't one close by so we chose to pay for breakfast (£21 per adult, kids eat free) as it was easier and we knew we'd get a good meal to set us up for the day. It was organised chaos at the time we went as the hotel was busy, so there were people milling everywhere. There was a good choice of dishes available. On reflection we should have opted to take our food into the bar area as it was much calmer and quieter. We used the pool a couple of times - it is quite cold when you get in but you soon warm up. It is good if you have young kids as it is the same depth all the way along. There is what appears to be a hot tub, but it is just the same temperature as the pool with a jet water feature. There is also a sauna and heated seats on the poolside. You have to book for the pool each day and it has a limit of 14 people at any one time, so try and do this when you check in as it seems to get busy, particularly in the early evening. They give you a key card which gives you access and it is only valid on that day, so if you try to use it again without booking it won't let you in. We had some drinks at the bar in the evening. £7 a pint seems to be the norm at hotels in London these days. It was pleasant enough and the staff were helpful, and they had sport playing on the big screens. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you travel as a family and want somewhere with a swimming pool - there aren't many resonably priced options in central London. We got a good discount using top secret hotels on the Last Minute website which meant it was £200 per night. Its description is: 'Ultra modern 4-star hotel with pool in the City of London'.

Not worth the money

£350 per night got an extremely small suite that consisted off cramped bedroom and narrow lounge area with sofa bed. I guess it would suit families but its not fit for business meetings. On the plus side the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable - although no extra pillows available. Reception staff friendly and efficient, as were bar staff. Evening meal was surprisingly good and Victor especially helpful. Breakfast was fine - the usual buffet. Bizarrely the second morning loud music blasted out at around 9.30 - loud enough to do credit to a rock concert. They seemed surprised to be asked to sort it out and it took a while. After that we settled to finish breakfast but the staff took up the baton and scraped chairs loudly over floor (think nails down blackboard) and communicated by shouting across the room. We left, breakfast uneaten. Oh and dont be fooled by the pics of an infinity pool with a lovely view - its clever photography. The pool, very nice too, is in the basement.

Agnieszka Rodziny - Opinie potwierdzone ALL

Hotel położony jest w centrum Londynu, blisko atrakcji stolicy i transportu publicznego. Pokój był dość przestronny, wygodne łóżka, woda dla spragnionych, czajnik z zestawem herbat Twinings jak przystało na Londyn i możliwość zrobienia kawy. W łazience przyjemne kosmetyki Rituals. Nie korzystaliśmy ze śniadań, ze względu na bliskość centrum z różnorodnymi opcjami. Podsumowując hotel spełnił oczekiwania.

Excellent Hotel, Service and Location

Fourth time staying at this particular Novotel and as on previous visits excellent. The room we had (Exec double) very comfortable, plenty of space, well equipped and great bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful and a special shout out to Rodney and his team in the restaurant. His team are well trained, efficient and friendly. Bar staff also a delight being friendly and efficient as well. The hotel is in a great location for us as an easy commute from Paddington Station. There are close by tube stations plus London Bridge and Waterloo Stations are not too far. Location is close to the South Bank and all it offers, and Borough Market and London Bridge area means that is an easy walk from many restaurants and places of interest. Hotel pool and gym, if you are so inclined are a bonus and make you feel less guilty about the breakfast buffet which is very good. Only tiddly complaint and seems petty are that the hash browns texture seemed strange - but I can live with that. Will use again when back in London. Thanks Again to all the Staff
