Stayed at the Ibis Sydney Olympic Park, arrived at the hotel to find no parking available even though when I booked l was assured that parking was available, sent to a parking station , to find it was full , charged $7 for 7 minutes whilst driving around the parking station to try and find a parking spot. Came back to the hotel , 45 minutes to be checked in as only 2 staff on reception. Had to leave my 3 young daughters at the hotel on their own as they could not walk the 1 km back to the hotel. Hotel reception staff very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I will never stay at the Ibis Sydney Olympic Park ever again . On checking out was charged $45 for my car to be parked at the front of the hotel. I will also not bd renewing my Accor membership. I sent an email to the Ibis hotel and Accor 3 days ago , still waiting for a response. Simply never again.

The Ibis Olympic Park review. Pros: Lovely welcome to the hotel and check in was easy. Breakfast in the room was good, perfectly cooked eggs. Cons: Rooms was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. 1cm thick dust in the room around edges, mould on the blinds and peas in the bathroom sink ? I did ask to be moved to a cleaner room as my asthma started to play up and this was accomodation. The next room was a little cleaner with no mould on the blinds however not to standard.

Don’t stay here if you don’t have to.

Worst hotel I have stayed at by far. Could hardly wash my hair in the shower due to the water only drizzling out and no pressure. The bathrooms are TINY. Parking is absolutely ridiculous. I was on a trip for work, parking paid for with the room, only to be told that the carpark was full and I would have to park down the street (1km away) and pay for parking myself down there. Then when the parking was open, the card they gave me wouldn’t insert into the machine. Will never stay here again or recommend to anyone else.

Great location for Olympic Park but we wont stay again.

We stayed for two nights to see a music artist at Olympic Park, the location was so close and easy to travel from. Unfortunately the downfalls outweighed the benefits, rust and mould in the bathroom, very small room, no toiletries available, not very sound proof. The price was ridiculous for such poor conditions. We did get an early check-in and customer service was very warm. We wont stay again.

We came for the NRL Grandfinal. Angelique at reception was amazing and was very attentive with our needs. In the end, only because our team lost and we were too upset to sleep, we decided to cancel our stay (understanding it was non refundable) and drove 6 hours home to process our grief :) However, we did arrive around 8am and left our luggage with Angelique, we enjoyed the full buffet breakfast and decided to shop for the morning before we left for the day at the Grand final. All staff we encountered was amazing, professional and nothing was to much to ask, however I can not stress, once again kudos to Angelique for being amazing and making us feel welcomed. Location, Location, Location was absolutely amazing and easy accessible to Accor Stadium and although Ibis and Novotel don't have onsight Gym it was comforting to know we had access to Pullman's Gym. We'll book again intime for the 2024 NRL Grand final and hopefully this time round we stay and enjoy the whole experience. Regards Sonia Welch
