First time staying at this property. Staff were friendly and made check-in smooth and welcoming. Location is super convenient, close to the light rail, with parking available onsite. Buffet breakfast was nice. Tennis court and pool onsite too. Loved the fun touch in the lobby with Broncos vs Storm balloons for the NRL Grand Final; fun way to celebrate the season! Comfortable stay with great service all around.

The Mercure in Parramatta is a nice hotel to stay at. The Service is very good with staff being proactive and friendly, particularly the receptionists. The rooms are good, however they are not very sound proof and you can hear the lifts if positioned nearby. The overall hygiene and sanitation is satisfactory. Overall I had nice experience and the mercure is suited well for families as the staff can make up an additional bed from the couch to accommodate.

Very bad room service experience! We stayed at this property for 5 nights and had to repeatedly request room cleaning every single day. Despite our requests, the rooms were often left uncleaned. To make matters worse, dirty hand gloves were left on our dining table, and the toilets were not cleaned either. The service from the Mercure team was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. When we raised our concerns, the manager simply said, “Maybe the staff were busy,” — which is an unacceptable excuse. We paid a good amount expecting basic cleanliness and hospitality, but the service we received was far below standard. Definitely not what you’d expect from a reputed hotel chain.

We stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful stay. The room was bright, airy, clean, had a great view over the district (we were on the sixth floor), the shower was amazing. The hotel had a good secure car park. The bed was comfortable and all in all it was brilliant

In need of renovations

Booked a family trip over the Australia day long weekend. Checkin process was okay. Got an email to allow online check in, but when I arrived I had to do it all again. Didn’t make much sense sending an email first. Room was basic, very dated, in need of renovations to update and not very clean. Bathroom looks like it needs a good scrub. We had a room booked for 4, but only 2 towels were provided. Staff quickly assisted and gave us some extra towels. The following day we returned after a very long day to find our room had been made up, and all our towels had disappeared.. had to go to reception at midnight to ask for some towels.. good location, easy access to trams and trains, club across the road had amazing food, but would look elsewhere to book again until renovations were done on the rooms.
