Mercure Hotel Riesa Dresden Elbland 4 stars

Unfriendly staff unwilling to help.

I had a great time at this hotel. It's right next to the train station and the supermarket. The staff was really professional AT ALL TIMES and were happy to help with the necessary information.

good service very friendly people, location central close to restaurant, easy access in and out of the city, rooms have desk , refrigerator and very nice bathroom , bed is very comfortable, clean, windows can be open for fresh air

We stay in the Riesa Mercure since years and love the nice atmosphere and the wonderful staff.

Because of last minute call, I had one of the last rooms in the hotel, and had therefor a smokers room. I was not aware that as a non-smoker this is really disgusting. All clothes smells to smoke. Bah. Next time I will stay in Leipzig when there are non-smokers rooms are available.

We were helped well by the staff, enjoyed a good breakfast and the room was clean and quiet. Also worth mentioning: we received an apple when leaving the hotel for the next part of our bicycle trip (Elbe tour).

Everything ok. Internet slow as always, curtains seemed very thin and didn't reach the walls and cover the windows fully

Quiet location, everything immediately available, all possible service ready, nice restaurant nearby with excellent choice of local specialities, wealthy breakfast buffet, clean and wide rooms...... What else? Everything perfect

Check-in and check-out was done by friendly and professional staff. All staff at the hotel made us welcome. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and good food. Our membership in Le Club Accor was fully acknowledged.

Good property located close to the railway station. Clean well maintained and managed by a friendly and competent staff Did enjoy the Panama Joes restaurant which is located within the hotel property. Would recommend this hotel to others.

The house/rooms/facilities definitely needs renovation. I definitely get a better place in Meissen or Dresden for less. Smelly rooms, old bathroom equipment, dirty carpet on the floor. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly.

My Company recently completed the construction and commissioning of a Manufacturing facility near Riesa, Germany, and beginning in 2012, I spent many weeks in Riesa as part of the team. Though I was away from my home and family for those many trips, your staff at the Riesa Mercure consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome there, and it became my “home away from home”. I looked forward to each visit, to the friendly smiles, the conversations, the little things like remembering my name and room number, opening the breakfast room a bit early for me, and making sure I had one of my favorite rooms with a view of the Elbe river. I do want to mention one employee in particular – Nicole Schöbel. You have a very valuable employee Ambassador in her! Nicole and all of her colleagues genuinely made the world seem just a little bit smaller. Our Manufacturing facility is now in operation, so it is with some sadness I find my trips to Riesa are now less frequent. I was able to return in November of last year with my wife, and she (of course!) was given the same warm welcome I had always received. Introducing her to Nicole and rest of your staff was a highlight of our trip. I want to be sure your entire Riesa Mercure group, past and present, is recognized for being such an important part of those memorable years of my life.
