We would say it was the worse room in relation to design, darkness ( one window) outlook (massive concrete retaining wall) in a hotel which is in the worse location ( up a 150m steep incline) in any city that we have stayed in throughout the world.

The room booked was one of our lead in guest rooms, i'm afraid we dont promote them as having any views and they are all on the back of our property. We also acknowledge your comments regarding the hotel’s hillside location. While many guests enjoy the elevated position for its views and proximity to the town center, we understand that the incline may not be suitable for everyone. Great location, beautiful views, lovely views, comfortable bedding. Fire should have been going - it's one of the reasons we chose the hotel so were really disappointed as we asked for it to be lit up multiple times.

Wonderful hotel, very cosy reception area, great staff. They gave us an early check in. The room was clean and neat and fairly large. The view from the restaurant was fantastic. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

We were very happy with how easy the check in and parking were on arrival. The room was amazing, and really large, which was great for our 15 month old daughter. The restaurant was good and the view incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when next in Queenstown.
