Hotel St Moritz Queenstown - MGallery 5 stars

the good: good location from which to walk to town; comfortable rrom; good bed; clean hotel; adequate gym; great view of the harbour if you have a room that allows it. the bad: expensive for the room and amenties - - one would expect an alleged 5 star hotel to at least offer laundry service, but this hotel does not. no bottled water in the room. no balcony for our room despite the per night cost of over $450 per. No outdoor view of the lake unless one sits on the limited balcony off the restaurant or obtains a room with a balcony for probably a higher price. Last, I would caution those who are not in shape or have walking or other gait issues that to walk to/from the hotel to/from town you need to climb a fairly steep road for about 80-100 meters. This may be a challenge to the aforesaid.

The staff were helpful in all areas of the hotel. The rooms have great décor & fitout. The beds are super comfortable. Like the Alchemy bathroom products.

We had a great stay at Saint Moritz in a one bedroom suite facing the lake stunning views, our own balcony, and really enjoyed coming down each morning for breakfast, and having a drink in the evening as the sun goes down. A short walk to the main township of Queenstown makes it easy to get away from the bustle and relax in the evenings. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Been to the hotel before and loved being back
