I have never before written a review. I never have rhe ti.e for it. But this situation was simply outrageous and I cannot let it go. This was my worst All Accor experience ever. I had called to let the reception know that we would arrive late. We arrived at 1am. At check in I was told that it was absolutely mandatory to pay the whole amount for the whole stay. I kindly requested a pre- authorisation instead as we would very likely have other services to be added on the invoice during the stay, so that we would then have a single transaction for the whole amount all included. Also in the system they already had my card as a guarantee and also the fact that I am an ALL PLATINUM member could have been a guarantee that I would not leave the hotel without paying. In any case, the receptionist insisted that it was mandatory to pay in order to access the rooms, so I paid. I had booked 3 rooms for myself and my family (all on single booking), so I paid the whole amount. By this time it was already very late so I did not check the invoice details (I requested specifically the invoice not to be printed and to be sent to me by email only, for environmental reasons). The next morning I checked the invoice and it was not in my name, the address was mine but the country was wrong. So I kindly explained the situation to the receptionist (a different person) who told me not to worry and that I would receive the amended invoice that very morning. As this did not happen the next morning I went to the reception, explained the situation to a 3rd person and I was given the same feedback: I would receive the amended invoice the same morning. Again, this did not happen. So the following morning I went again to the reception, explained the situation to a 4th person and got the same feedback. This situation repeated itself every day until the check out day, when I was given the same feedback. Sone of rhe reception staff already knew about the topic from previous discussions and still they did not do anything. A few days after our stay I sent an email explaining the situation and requesting the amended invoice. I am still waiting for the invoice today. Furthermore I was not awarded any points (of any kind) for my stay and I got a message that my stay was not eligible for points collection. (!?). On top of this very frustrating situation, I would like to outline a very very cold attitude and often even disrespectful attitude of the staff during breakfast towards all hotel guests, not necessarily towards me. The young lady and the young man who were working at the bar during the evenings were very kind, respectful and easy-going. However the older man from the bar (I am sorry I did not catch his name but he was a bald person), he was very disrespectful and he literally threw at me the copy of the card payment when I dared to ask for it. Overall it is a pity. This hotel is located in one of the most amazing spots and offers wo deeful views in a unique idilic environment. Nevertheless the team needs a solid training programme so they know that people should be treated with respect. With the same respect that I, as hotel guest, treated them during my stay. This is not something extraordinary, this is just common sense and civic attitude.

El Torreon Restaurant charged us 20€ for the reservation, (10€ per person, in case of cancellation). We paid the bill. We were charged for 3 bottles of wine and only had 2. We were charged for 2 bottles of water and only had 1. We came later and were given a 3rd bottle of wine and a bottle of cava as compensation, which was a nice gesture. Then we realized we still paid 20€ extra for the reservation and also an extra bottle of water.

We paid 350 euros/night for a twin room with balcony to watch the persillades meteor shower. Upon arrival, they told us our room was given to someone else. They gave us a double bed room, without a balcony, and no compensation. I slept with my collegue in the same bed. It was a disaster as we didn't sleep much as we were uncomfortable sharing a bed. I do not recommend this hotel. Also reception speaks little english, check in took 20 minutes as both receptionists talked to another client before us (it was almost midnight and we were only 2 clients) as we were ignored. Breakfast was really simple, not much choice. The only comforting thing was the view from the room. So sorry, to pay that much for such a horrible experience. When we asked to talk to the manager they said he is not here....never been treated like this, we are thinking of judicial consequences.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were friendly & attentive. The view from our room was breath-taking. We saw sunrises, sunsets & a panoramic view from our room. The hotel was so peaceful, it's definitely a place to get away from it all. The pool area was amazing with fantastic views of San Sebastian. We enjoyed travelling on the fanicular up & down to the hotel. If you want peace, stunning views & a fun amusement park next door to pop into, this is the place to stay. It's only a fanicular ride to the beach & a walk to the city.....we will be back

The mobile phone service is limited and the wi-fi provided is extremely poor. Transport to the town is difficult with taxis being limited. A regular mini bus service when the funicular is not operating (with a small charge) would be well used.

My reservation was for a triple standard room, upon check in I was denied my reservation for this room type after it was previously confirmed twice, I was told there was no rooms of my reservation available, only a double or a handicap room was available, I had to get management involved and stand by my reservation which was made in April, this reservation was made to accompany 2 people which needed two twin beds with a couch for space, we were finally given a triple room with wheelchair accessible, bathroom, because my reservation was not honored by the hotel, I was very disappointed by the staff upon check in who did not respect my reservation and thought that this inconvenience was standard at this hotel

The hotel is sat within the historic Monte Igueldo Monumental Landmark, surrounded by a vintage theme park dating back to 1912. Fantastic views in all directions, plenty of free parking, a prominent pool area and modern interiors. If I was being picky the only negatives would be that our 'king size' bed was actually two beds pushed together. The shower was also over a bath whereas I would prefer a walk-in shower. One thing that could make the pool area even better would be a waiter service for food and drinks.

No Accor membership discounts at all breakfast on the weekend not honoured for a Diamond member none of this was explained when booking. Asked for an ice bucket so we could enjoy some champagne on the balcony watching the sunset over San Sebastián and told there was a 5 Euro charge for this. The room was fine the views from the balcony were amazing and the pool area is excellent.
