Nice views, but noisy and terrible service

The views from the hotel are beautiful, but the service was terrible. I arrived early in the morning and requested to do check in as soon as possible, because I had a lunch meeting and the staff was very un-flexible and they told me that the check in was at 2 and that there was nothing I can do about it. Also the room was very old (for a 4* hotel) and very noisy (walls were very thin), and you can hear from your neighbor taking a shower, to the cleaning staff opening and closing doors, and moving the furniture. It is a real shame, because my first impression was really amazing, but the service took it all away..

Nice location and view, but...

Nice location with an exceptional view. Front desk service was below average. There is no place to have a cup of coffee before 11am, unless you buy the full breakfast. We were attended nicely by Alicia (Breakfast Manager) as my wife was not feeling well. The rooms were OK, but need some attention, bathroom toilets with broken parts. Had to call housekeeping twice to get the right coffee envelops. With some small details, this property has the potential to be a 5*

We reserved a privilege room and were given a normal one. The stuff was not polite explaining is the same room. Had to argue to change the room

Bad service and overall disappointing stay

Overall our experience from checking in to the hotel to leaving was sadly a disappointing experience. I do not normally complete surveys but I feel it is important to share how our stay went. We are gold accorr members and on check in we were not recognised as this with no upgrades provided, no complimentary drinks vouchers and no welcome gift in our room. The staff at check in were not helpful and were more interested in moving us on. This type of service from the staff was consistent throughout the stay. Only when we complained was any action taken. The room was old and dated and in much need of updating. The furniture and equipment including the television were all outdated. We ordered food at the bar being chicken tenders which came out as raw chicken. This was not food safe and the bar staff were very unhelpful when raising with them. Only when we really complained was this addressed and the food taken away. We couldn't even get simple things like an ironing board sent to our room. We were looking forward to this stay but ultimately couldn't wait to get away.

Lovely location, extremely badly managed

Of course the view and location is amazing, but that’s where the positives end. There was far too little staff, and the ones that were there seemed to be learning on the job. Our air conditioning was broken to which I was told just open your door at night. We and a lot of others ordered food and after an hour of nothing I had to cancel. But there was so many other things that were messed up I have never seen a hotel so badly run. I was tempted to as for some refund but the woman at the desk was only on her second day and for her sake I left it go.
