The view is breathtaking. The hotel is clean and the staff generally are very helpful. The balcony for our privilege room enabled us to enjoy the panorama. Apart from slow service at the bar everything else was outstanding including the roof top swimming pool and decking.

The views from San Sebastian Hotel are breathtaking and absolutely unbeatable. The reception staff were nice and friendly, making us feel welcome. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and also offered stunning views. However, the bar staff’s behavior was disappointing. They frequently appeared disgruntled and were arguing amongst themselves, especially during busy periods. It was evident that a new staff member was being trained, but the existing staff seemed impatient and stressed while instructing her. This lack of professionalism was noticeable and somewhat off-putting for guests. Additionally, the WiFi was horrible, making it difficult to stay connected. The walls were very thin; we could hear our neighbor’s TV (on the side of the wall not next to our bed) up until 1 AM. Overall, while the views and reception service were excellent, the experience at the bar, the WiFi quality, and the noise levels could use significant improvement.

We booked his hotel and then started reading reviews about how terrible this hotel was. Fortunately it is nowhere as bad as the reviews state. Staff have been very good though often very busy! (Maybe understaffed?) good food and wine especially the breakfast buffet. Rooms are old but clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. We didn’t need the a/c while here. We received our welcome drinks. Small but adequate wine list

The views from the hotel are beautiful, but the service was terrible. I arrived early in the morning and requested to do check in as soon as possible, because I had a lunch meeting and the staff was very un-flexible and they told me that the check in was at 2 and that there was nothing I can do about it. Also the room was very old (for a 4* hotel) and very noisy (walls were very thin), and you can hear from your neighbor taking a shower, to the cleaning staff opening and closing doors, and moving the furniture. It is a real shame, because my first impression was really amazing, but the service took it all away..

Nice location with an exceptional view. Front desk service was below average. There is no place to have a cup of coffee before 11am, unless you buy the full breakfast. We were attended nicely by Alicia (Breakfast Manager) as my wife was not feeling well. The rooms were OK, but need some attention, bathroom toilets with broken parts. Had to call housekeeping twice to get the right coffee envelops. With some small details, this property has the potential to be a 5*
