Sofitel Melbourne on Collins was a fantastic stay! elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located in the heart of the city. The rooms have stunning views and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Staff are warm, professional, and attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless. A truly luxurious stay that I’d happily return to.

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins is an excellent hotel all over. The Atrium is a great general bar and light food area on the 35th floor, and right in the centre of the complex. The in-house restaurant, No 35 (also on the 35th floor) is likewise excellent in every aspect. Club Sofitel, which is available to high tier Accor members along with high end room category occupants, is, yes also on the 35th floor, and also excellent in all aspects. Every staff member that we came in contact with was very professional and extremely helpful, so much so that my wife's dietary restrictions were just accommodated with a smile and as a matter of course, on every occasion. We will always stay at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, every time we're in Melbourne. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite hotels. The décor is elegant yet warm. The front desk staff are extremely professional, always making me feel welcome. There is 24-hour in-room dining service. The rooms are always clean and quiet. Highly recommend....

Best hotel experience ever

For the last 10 years, I have stayed at the Sofitel Melbourne when I visit Melbourne - it’s always a wonderful experience. However, I feel compelled to write a review after my most recent stay, because it was simply out of this world. I arrived at the hotel at midday, and despite the hotel having been fully booked the night before, they had prioritised getting my room ready early. I am a Platinum Accor member, but hadn’t expected any kind of room upgrade given how busy the hotel was - so I was shocked when they said not only had I been upgraded, but I’d been upgraded to a Prestige Suite on Level 47, and was told they “wanted to spoil me”. The room was on the corner and utterly spectacular, with a huge separate bedroom and living area, and incredible views. I received welcome chocolate and wine, and loved the turndown service later. The Club Lounge was excellent as always, and I especially enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast! I was visiting Melbourne for an event, but found myself not wanting to leave my room - and luckily for me, they even gave me a 3pm late checkout! Thank you to the incredible staff for an experience I will never forget. The room was incredible, but it’s the amazing staff who always make my stay super special here. You all set the standard for hotels everywhere, and I can’t wait to come back again soon :-)
