Probably wouldn't stay again - tired and not cleaned properly

I am a regular visitor to Brighton but this is my first time at this hotel. As others have said it benefits from a good location. This is an extremely basis budget hotel, which was expected having stayed at other Ibis hotels, however I was disappointed the room was tired with one of the blinds falling down and hairs found in the bath room suggesting cleaning could be improved. Probably wouldn't stay again and the Premier Inn offers a far better option even if it is slightly more expensive.

I wouldn’t stay again

Normally stay here for the location as handy for the station . But wouldn’t stay in the future now . Checkin was cold , distant and unfriendly. No effort made to eye contact just a mumbling .i booked through a 3rd party and was asked for ID. I have never been asked for id in a uk hotel ever and was not notified beforehand about this I was on floor 6 which was very noisy . Cleaner hoovering and banging at 09:30 . Don’t they realise that people sleep in etc . The plumbing was awfully noisy as well. I specifically asked the cleaner not to do my room as I had personal stuff out etc and there was no point as I was there for 2 days but they still did . I wouldn’t stay again. Just don’t think they care

Lovely hotel and great friendly service and a great location next to Brighton Station, from the moment we checked in, to check out, the staff are extremely friendly and cannot fault this place and will definitely return next time we visit. Nothing was too much. This was my first time staying in an Ibis. The room was on the 5th floor and had a view of the main road, this did not affect us, the room has aircon and heating and was very big and spacious. We will definitely be back soon The team were amazing

We have stayed here a few times when visiting family. It’s a great location. Close to the station. They do a really good buffet breakfast.
