Room 112 is certainly a guest favourite, and we’re so pleased you enjoyed the spacious balcony and its beautiful seafront views — it truly is stunning, especially in the summer months. It’s wonderful to know you found your room spotless, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom amenities added an extra touch to your stay. We’re also glad the adjustable room temperature helped make your stay even more comfortable. Thank you as well for your comments regarding parking. You're absolutely right — while on‑site parking can seem a little higher, many guests appreciate the convenience, especially as nearby alternatives can be similarly priced. Dear Stringtheories, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, although I am truly sorry to hear about the discomfort and frustration you experienced during your stay. This is certainly not the impression we want any guest to leave with, and I genuinely regret that we fell short of your expectations. I’m especially concerned to hear about the heating issues in your mews room during the very cold weather. While the air‑conditioning units are designed to provide additional heating support, it’s clear that this did not function as it should. Spending the night feeling cold is unacceptable, and I sincerely apologise for the discomfort this caused. Our maintenance team has been instructed to fully inspect the room’s heating system to ensure this does not happen again. Your comments regarding power sockets, the bathroom sink, and the mirror distance have also been noted. These details matter, and I appreciate you highlighting them. We will be reviewing these points as part of our ongoing improvement plans for the mews rooms. I am glad to hear that you found our staff helpful — they always aim to support guests wherever possible — though I am disappointed that the condition of the room and your overall experience overshadowed their efforts. While we do constantly balance investment with guest value, your feedback makes it clear that further attention is needed to ensure consistency with our four‑star standards. While I’m pleased to hear you’ve enjoyed our bar and found the team lovely, I’m very sorry that you experienced frustration regarding the pricing differences. I want to reassure you that overcharging is never our intention, and I completely understand your concern — especially as a regular local guest. The discrepancy you mentioned between the printed menu price and the amount charged at the bar should not occur, and I apologise sincerely for this.
