- Bed were super soft, not at all ideal. - Flooring had stains. - Bedsheets were sticky. - Bathroom was sub standard. Ibis budget hotels have same bathroom. - No proper information on breakfast place & timings. - Breakfast was horrible, stale fruits, no coffee machine. - In a nutshell not worth the amount I paid for a night, would have rather booked Pullman or Sudima.

While the public areas of the hotel have been upgraded, and upgrades made in the main area of the rooms (eg usb points) the bathrooms are desperately in need of an upgrade. I don't know if photos can be uploaded later in this review, however suffice it to say that at a height of only 5' 6" my knees were jammed up against the wall when sitting on the toilet. It was totally impossible for my husband to stand in front of the toilet, and had to use it "from the side". The shower over the bath spurted everywhere like a crazy fire hose and you could date the bathrooms by the "pull out clothes line" across the bath which had rust marks on it. I totally understand doing bathroom renovations can be a challenge when you have limited room, however converting the shower over bath to a walk in shower is quite easy, and simply turning the toilet through 90 degrees so that you can sit on it is a no brainer. I suggest that the management actually stay in a hotel room for 3 nights (the length of our stay) and then see what they think about my review. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, however parking was also an issue during our stay. The outside of the hotel was being painted and while I understand the need to block off certain areas of the car park, blocking off every disabled parking space proved to be a problem. No, I'm not in a wheelchair but I do have limited mobility due to spinal issues. No formal alternative arrangements were in place for those with a parking permit. The front desk staff would say "just park out the front" however "out the front" was always full of other vehicles. Maybe placing some disabled parking only signs would have helped. These might sound like small issues to some people but made a large impact on our stay. We would be very hesitant to stay here again, and would seek out a hotel that was a more recent build, and ask specific questions about the amenities if not shown clearly on the Accor website.

Awful from the moment we arrived! Check in was two hours late, room tired and grubby, no towels for our showers until the next day at 8pm!! Was given a drink voucher but the bar wasn’t available so we just sat in the lobby. We ate at the Atlas (in house restaurant) the food was disgusting- no way was it cooked by a qualified chef? The two nights were a real disappointment and waste of money. We won’t be going back there.

Catastrophic Event Occurred with No Towels Available

After day 2, I contacted house keeping at 2pm because the two units I had booked were not serviced. I asked for clean towels and was told that there had been a 'catastrophic event' with the laundry and towels were not immediately available. It was the school holidays and the hotel has hot pools - why are there not back up plans to having spare towels?? I thought this was strange. Also despite booking rooms specifically requesting bedding for the couches in the units NO blankets, linen or pillows were provided. I had to ring house keeping for this. The units we booked were musty smelling like the walls had water in them. Despite this somewhat negative experience I thought the Atlas restaurant staff were very good and very hard working while I was there.

Really good location. Perfectly clean rooms, and comfortable. Some of the finishings in the room weren't the best however, just little things like marks on the walls, we had a broken toilet roll holder which we informed reception about but they hadn't got around to fixing it by the time we left. The hot pools available at the hotel is a good feature. Again, perfectly fine stay.
