We have stayed many times at this hotel over the past 10 years except between 2021-22 however, we were there in April 23 and were surprised how good the hotel was after Covid. They were able to keep a lot of the staff we know from previous years which is a credit to the management team. We enjoy the service the hotel has and the old world charm that we like, big lobby/lounge and the rooms .beds are big, very clean. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant for breakfast and dinner with a good selection that suited us. The lawn area is nice for sitting outside the dining area. The only down side was the air quality due to fires on the border with Myanmar(Burma) .The location of the hotel is very central to the main shopping centres by mini bus (tut tut) we would pay 20 Baht each per trip. It is a short 10-15 min walk to the old city walls.

The room was ok large and clean but a bit old. The staff was helpful. The pool was nice.

Terrific to be back after Covid-Great Stay as always

We were sadly last at the Mercure in March 2020 and it was great to be back to enjoy your hospitality and the charm of the hotel with its lovely lobby area. We have stayed many times over the years and are still impressed by the hotels friendly and helpful staff . The location is good for us and ticks all the boxes we enjoyed the outside area adjacent to the restaurant.

Staff were very friendly. The whole hotel looked a bit dated. Not what we usually associate an accor hotel with.
