Overall the stay was awesome, as usual, great helpful staff , great facilities Only one neg , room 315 the shower leaks everywhere onto the floor and into the main room

My stay at Novotel Darwin CBD was disappointing. Check‑in took over 20 minutes after midnight. The room had several issues, including a noisy unbalanced fan, a loud air conditioner, and a constant dripping sound in the bathroom. On 31 March, housekeeping left the fridge door partially open, causing all my food items to spoil and water to pool inside. I reported this to the front desk. Based on this experience, I will consider alternative accommodation in future.

If I was putting this on socials I’d title it “ Solid but not great “ Pros :- * good price * clean room * great view of the harbour * central location * much better food in the bar area ( ate there both nights ! ) * nice welcome gift Cons:- * upon check in the receptionist couldn’t answer my question re discount on my accom * the right hand lift unreliable and very unsettling + the room itself - loose tap fiitings and generally the room looked very ‘ tired ‘ * whilst central to Darwin cbd , due to its location I was regularly accosted by itinerant persons as I walked to and from the hotel during my stay

Feedback: Sadly, my room was very tired, the shower leaked, the toilet dripped, there were cockroaches in the bathroom crawling all over my stuff 😔. I am coming back to Darwin in May + now not sure I want to stay at The Novotel. I sent a Watsapp feedback with no response.
