We moved to the Pavilion after 3 nights at the Winter Palace, as I wanted friends to see there was a cheaper alternative, still with access to the Winter Palace facilities. After the old world charm and luxury of the old hotel I did worry they might see the more modern Pavilion as a step down, but thanks to the superb service offered by all staff, and the excellent accommodation provided, I can safely say they loved their time at the hotel and, as with the Winter Palace, a return is definitely on their agenda (my only regret is that it took so many years to convince them that this trip was something they had to do).

We had a wonderful stay at the Pavillon Winter Luxor. The gardens are absolutely stunning and provide a calm escape right in the heart of Luxor. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the greenery. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of fresh options. The location next to the historic Winter Palace is perfect for visiting Luxor Temple and the Corniche. Great value for money and very quiet at night — we’ll definitely return!

Our 2nd experience of a Sofitel, Udaipur India the first, did not disappoint. All staff members were very attentive from our cleaner, reception staff to those at the restaurants. Those at the pool side and restaurant under Mahmoud’s guidance were exceptional. We also visited the main hotel and had excellent service. Would love to come again

Very friendly accommodating hotel pool and restaurant staff. Ever so friendly and trying to make the stay a perfect one. Not an easy feat with some much guest movement. The place is an oasis in Luxor.

This hotel has terrible service and is not clean. I am glad this wasn't our first hotel experience in Egypt. Definitely not 5-stars. The employees there all look very unwilling to be at work, honestly. Which makes me think this hotel is greedy and not paying them well, which is sad. Egyptian minimum wage is $94 USD/month!! Which means that 1 day at this hotel $300 pays for nearly 3 employees for a month! And they barely have any employees, and the ones they have look miserable and have no training. Greedy hotel!! Let me just say that the service there is awful - if you have any service. From the start, the employee at the entrance looked uninterested and didn’t give us instructions on where to go. It was all dark and they have many buildings. As we walked in the room, there was toillete paper left on the toilet. We've arrived at 9h30 PM and literally everything was already closed. No bar, no restaurant. Next day we spent 4 hours by the pool and not one server checked on us. We ordered beer twice but had to walk over go order. We went check the restaurants earlier this time, and guess what. They are all 3 ish stars for a reason. First, they denied our entrance because we were wearing shorts and nice bottom up shirts. So we put on pants and started at thr bar. The bar had no one in it, but there was dirty napkin on the floor. Check their restaurant reviews, all terrible. The hotel feels like had good service at one point but not is neglected. Smoking room had not 1 ash tray, swimming pool neither. Public bathroom without products. Ahhh, I almost forgot. Their breakfast was Really gross. All baked goods were old, there was barely anything I could eat. Very basic 2star like hotel breakfast. Don't recommend going here!!! The botanical garden is amazing but not worth to receive rude or no service!! Please pay your people better, and train them!! Don't be so greedy.
