Hotel Mercure Arras Centre Gare 4 estrelas

Probably the best hotel in Arras. The Privilege Rooms are well designed, quite spacious with coffee-maker, good shower and comfortable bed. We stayed three nights and used the restaurant on one evening (where else can one eat in Arras on a Sunday?) and the food was above expectations for a business hotel. Friendly, efficient service too. Breakfast was also good, but they lose a star for their chaotic service one morning. The key waiter was 'off' and none of the staff knew what to do (they couldn't even make a cappuccino). However, this is clearly a well-run hotel, in a good location and up to the Mercure Group's high standards.

Comfortable, clean and good value hotel. The rooms were functional, I slept well and the bathroom/shower was excellent. The bar is nice and offers a range of good value drinks. The breakfast bar was average; could be improved by optimising the layout, making cutlery/cup/plates more easily accessible, making cooked options more accessible and improve the quality of the coffee, which was dispensed from an unintuitive machine and tasted average/poor. We didn’t try the restaurant for dinner but the menu looked interesting. Hopefully we will try if we come again!

The dog was treated like a VIP !!! Bowls and treats provided , aircon most welcome in 38 degrees . My husband and I slept like babies in an exceptionally comfy bed or maybe that was the wine ? Anyway , will definitely use this hotel again . Excellent staff and facilities , secure parking right next door . Thankyou and Reggie says hi 🐶

Wew use this hotel as an overnight before an early Eurotunnel train - just over an hour to the terminal! Good that this hotel has parking and a lift into reception (although there are 3 steps up from the lift into the hotel....) The room was good - comfortable with all the amenities you need. The hotel is a good place to stay and the restaurant is perfectly adequate, meaning no effort is required after eating!!!! Reception was helpful and friendly. We'll be staying here again!

The hotel is central to everything, easy access parking at €11 for 24 hrs. Staff very pleasant on check in and throughout stay. The room was clean , comfortable and well equipped , especially for the price paid. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
