Quite a few guests but no shuttle to the airport on easter saturday. Bed very hard and plastic illumintated headboard squeaked in the surround - makes for a poor night's sleep. Bath with non thermostatic shoer over it - old fashioned and not in a good way Staff helpful and doing their best to manage the Covid limits obliging meals in the bedroom etc. but a second chair (even a fold up seat) would have been better than one chair and one of us sitting on the bed to eat. Will be well positioned when new tram route opened later this year

Clean Hotel with super nice rooms, quiet, free parking, only 10 minutes walk from the terminal, easy to reach the city of Bordeaux. This hotel has everything you need . Very nice staff at the reception at check in and check out.

Located very close to the airport. We had to walk from the airport as the shuttle bus had stopped running. My suggestion would be to keep the shuttle bus running for 30 mins after the last plane lands? A local taxi wanted 20 Euros to take us which was a lot less than a kilometre. Apart from that the hotel was amazing. Very Stylish with first class and very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing. The bus into Bordeaux stopped around the corner. Would highly recommenced this hotel

Great place for an early flight, but not too early

If you have an early flight, this hotel is as close as you can get to the Bordeaux (BOD) airport. The rooms are clean and really nicely furnished. The only downside is this; We arrived around 11PM for a 6AM flight to CDG and then back to the U.S. They do have a van that runs every 30 minutes to the airport terminals, but it doesn't start until 05:30. Far too late for us. We had to take a 14 euro cab ride that lasts about 4 minutes. So the hotel is only good if you've got a 7:30 AM flight or later. That's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars....how late the shuttle started.

Pool not open!!!

We booked this hotel because there is a pool. Upon arrival we were told the pool wasn’t open. ‘the website mentions the pool but not that it is open’ was the answer of the receptionist. In the elavator was a note that due to construction work the pool wasn’t open till half june. No mentioning of this on the website. Only due to a very member of the restaurant staff it was arranged for us to use the pool of Mercure bordeaux Lac the next day. No effort was made to come op with a sollution by the reception staff. In the first room the beds made a terrible cracking noise when exiting the bed. With a lot of arguments at the desk we got an other room (and the upgrade we were due because of our Accor gold status). All in all not a hotel to ever return to!

On arrival at bordeaux airport we phoned at 20H30 for the complimentary pickup offered by the hotel.Since no one arrived we called again 15 minutes later only to be told that somebody would come soon.Eventually transport arrived at 21H00.This hotel is only 3 minutes drive from the airport. Arriving at reception we were informed that the driver had been busy organising and cleaning up some conference room for next days session.No apology offered for the delay. Having obtained our room cards we were then told that we should hurry if we wanted to have dinner since the restaurant stopped serving at 22H00. We rushed to the room but unfortunately the room entry cards would not work. we had to go back to the reception to obtain new cards.Answer given was that normally they always function.Again no apology offered. When we finally got to the restaurant we were told that the daily menu selection was no longer available. Next day on checkout we booked for the transport back to the airport 10 minutes in advance as requested.When ready to leave at the time of 13H00 fixed by the hotel there was no transport available.It finally turned up at 13H15. We have had better and friendlier service in 2 star hotels of the same group.

We regularly stay at the Mercure Merignac, but on our latest visit our flight arrived at 2.30 a.m. We told the reception in advance and enquired whether the shuttle service would be operating. We were told that the shuttle service stopped at midnight and as there would be no taxi service, we would have to walk to the hotel. There were indeed no taxis, and the footpath to the hotel was mostly in total darkness. Frankly I expect something better from a hotel of Mercure's standing and a better and more sympathetic response than "you will have to walk".

The hotel provided everything we needed for an over night stop between flights.Good shuttle to pick us up.Nice room, although not quite as luxurious as the one we had for the same rate the previous week.Meal in the restaurant was very appetising.Staff all very helpful and friendly.

The actual hotel and room were good, save the pool and pool area which was a little run down, however the food was poor (the menu translations are not accurate and you end up with something different) and the service slow. Also the airport shuttle starts at 5.30am, which is not early enough for many flights, so you end up getting a taxi.Might well have stayed in central Bordeaux and then got a taxi from there.

Have stayed here previously on numerous occasions. I have always been very pleased with the standard of the hotel, it is quiet, clean with helpful courteous staff. I particularly like the fact that all of the rooms I have stayed in have been decorated in different styles. One small blip, I did notice some slight wear and tear in my room which has never been the case before. This time I did not eat in the restaurant and opted for room service. The meal was delivered very quickly and was delicious.

We stayed in room with wet room style bathroom which had just been installed. Water not just leaked but surged from the bathroom onto carpet in bedroom. We reported this but frankly staff at reception were disinterested. The air con did not work in the room and it became much too stuffy. We had to sleep with both windows open so we heard lot of road noise. Again disinterest when we reported it. Breakfast was disappointing and we noticed that the window ledges beside he tables had not been cleaned for some time. Very few staff in dining room for breakfast and supplies were not replenished. Very poor.

I had a 0630hrs flight so , to my mind , this hotel is ideally situated for these early morning flights being only minutes from the airport terminals . It's a v pleasant hotel for a short stay - one night or so. Staff are always extremely helpful and polite which you need when you're checking out at 0445hrs! Food is good and reasonably priced , both dinnera and breakfast - that is when I have the luxury of having a civilised one! Accommodation is moderately priced, no sudden seasonal hikes. Having stayed at this hotel prior to many business flights I have yet to have any problems certainly any which were not immediately rectified.

As usual my stay was uneventful which is the way I prefer them. Staff and service very good. I enjoy staying at this hotel as it extremely convenient for Bordeaux airport which is only minutes away as I alway take the 0620 hrs flight to Paris CDG for an onward connection to Riyadh later in the morning.

Once again top marks to the team at the Mercure Merignac. The welcome is always warm and the hotel bright and comfortable. My first stay in a long time on the 4th floor (Americas). Loved the room decoration, a real touch of class. We had a group dinner which was very well prepared and served quickly, so everybody got to eat together. Good job the restaurant team.Special thanks to Junior on reception for his help and cooperation and particulalrly huge vote of thanks to Clemence for the time she spent to find a solution to a tricky problem I had. Business trip to Nantes

This was a business trip to Nantes. I had an appointment with my distributor. And we met for the first time. It was also my first time in Nantes. Nantes is very difficult to drive your can in. Many roundabouts and the speed limits change about every 500 yards. The city center of Nantes is very beautiful, not very big, but beautiful.

Lots of flies in bar area & on ceiling. Very unhygenic for drinks & food with flies landing. Cold bar & restaurant with temporary space heater. Complaint to staff member just thought it funny & ignored the issue. Unfriendly serving staff Will not stay here again.

Probably one of the best Hotels in the Bordeaux area. The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The restaurant is large and airy, the food is good and the staff friendly. Buffet breakfast has great choice for everyone, Scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon and an extensive cold selection

Good service and convenient for stop over. Quiet despite being a very busy hôtel. Good restaurant. We stayed in normal room and superior. Rooms are tiny but convenient. Thé first room had the carpet ruined with many spots.

I stayed here on 3 separate occasions over the last month and on 2 of those occasions the A/C in my room stopped working. On the last occasion, I was even moved to a new room but the A/C died on me in that one too at 3'ish in the morning. That's 4 rooms I've stayed in and 3 rooms with A/C problems.
