Affordable Option in Luxembourg

This is a good hotel right by the central train station and not too far away from the main sights of Luxembourg City. The hotel was nicely decorated when we visited with some Christmas decorations and we liked the sheep art throughout the hotel. Getting around the city is easy with frequent teams, busses and trains from the nearby station and all public transport is free within the country! The room was good and the beds/pillow were comfy. The room is a bit small but we had enough space to put our things including some space under the bed for our bags. They had a small table in the room with a chair, some shelving and a pretty big TV for the room size. The bathroom was good too with some decent shower products and while most of the room and bathroom appeared clean they seemed to be having some issues with the shower ceiling and that could use some attention. We picked this hotel for the location and the affordable breakfast option because we only had a day to explore Luxembourg and felt the hotel breakfast would be a good start to our day. The breakfast had a nice selection of breads including a seasonal pastry, a pancake machine, cereals, yoghurt and some nice deli meats and cheeses. The juice and coffee machine were also pretty good and they had some to go cups for the tea/coffee. The location of the hotel is maybe not the best for families because it is surrounded by gentleman's clubs and possibly the red light area of Luxembourg. We didn't see anything too bad but would exercise a degree of caution in this area. There are a few restaurants, bars and quite a few shops nearby. There is parking on site and nearby but that will cost between 18-25 euros per night. We booked this hotel mainly because it was affordable and would consider staying here again to save some money while travelling through Europe. Being here during the Christmas Market season was fantastic and there are lots of nice things to do around the city.

Not so sure if this is a 4 or 3-point-rated hotel. The location is super convenient next to the central train station 200 m. Bathrooms smaller in size. Recommended for overnight stays.

Great Stay in a Central Location

We stayed four nights at ibis Styles Luxembourg Centre Gare and had a great experience. The hotel is incredibly central, making it easy to explore the city, and it’s right by the train station, which was extremely handy for getting around Luxembourg and beyond. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the room itself was comfortable; especially the super comfy beds and the excellent shower, which were perfect after long days out. A nice bonus was enjoying a couple of Diekirch beers as our Accor welcome drinks, a simple but very appreciated touch. Overall, a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. Would happily return!

Ibis Styles Luxembourg was a great stay! The room was super comfortable and spacious, as well as the bathroom. You could connect your phone/tablet to the TV. Front staff were helpful. Location was perfevt for my train travels. 200m walk from the station and only 1km walk or free tram ride from city centre. The only thing is that breakfast is extra (when most Ibis Styles hotels include breakfast in the price)

I was in room 207 (second floor), room was clean. Hotel is close to the tram and bus station Gare Centrale (remember all local transport is free). Lots of restaurants in the same street (UMIBistro was my favourite) Breakfast is a continental, nice selection
