I have stayed at the hotel for both business and personal trips and the team at Sofitel Luxembourg are amazing. Always welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble! I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Europe Luxembourg for the past two years, spending at least two weeks each month here, and I can genuinely say it’s become my second home. From the moment I step through the doors, I’m greeted with a warm and genuine welcome that sets the tone for the entire stay. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure every need is met, often anticipating my preferences before I even ask. The level of service is truly outstanding – whether it’s the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant team, everyone is dedicated to making your stay perfect. The hotel itself is stunning, blending luxurious design with comfort. The rooms are always impeccably clean, well-appointed, and offer a peaceful retreat after a long day. Loved this hotel. Room was beautiful, quite comfortable and quiet. There 2 nice restaurants on-site - both a good. There is also a bar that made an excellent martini. Staff and service were perfect. Location is 5 mins walk to the tram, which offers quick (and free) transport to most of the city. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Luxembourg.

Quiet, comfortable room in a nicely upgraded hotel. I would say that this is really a business hotel more than a tourist hotel. And, you're a few miles away from the main tourist area. However, I have no complaints about this hotel. The staff was helpful and it's about a 10-minute free and direct tram ride to downtown. And the trams come about every 4 minutes. Breakfast was good and parking ($19 Euro/night) was convenient.

room was large and comfortable, staff friendly, only issue I experienced was having to wait for more than 10 minutes to check out, there was only 1 person in front of me but he was taking 10 minutes plus to check out, it was peak check-out time 11.30 to 12.00 standard check-out time so would be good if a second staff member would have been available to deal with check-outs, there was an error in the in-room billing displayed on my room tv so I wanted to check this and receive a copy of my bill and not do the instant check-out which is also available, I will return to stay in the hotel again next week
