An extremely basic hotel and possibly the worst Ibis I’ve stayed in. So many “features” not actually available or on offer, as advertised. No in-room safe, no hot snacks available at bar. Luckily there is takeaway food available in nearby street. Very close to train station but there are other hotel options so consider these instead. Reception staff were OK, not overly friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located in munich city center about a 5 muns walk from the central train station. The room is small ans so is the bathroom with a small walk in shower. I got a room on the top floor. The air con wasn't very effective so the window has to be opened to let in so fresh air, I cloud hear the distance rumbling of traffic at night. There is no kettle or tea/coffee provided in the room. I asked for a kettle and had to pay 10 euros deposit which is refunded when I returned it. The main selling point of this hotel is the location.

The hotel is about 10 mins from the main train station, and 20 mins walk into the city centre and old town. The team is friendly and the reception and bar area are bright and welcoming. The rooms are basic and rather small. The level of cleaning could be better - the room we stayed in could do with a proper clean. The air conditioning was fairly good and you could open the windows for fresh air. The breakfast (at €17 per person) had a good choice and was spacious. The area around the hotel was typical of that around train stations - a mixed crowd and a number of homeless people. There is a great restaurant near the hotel - Storia, which serves really nice Italian food.

Situated quite close to the main station and a short walk from the old town. Friendly staff, quick check in. Room has essentials, functional yet comfortable. With the window open the karaoke outside could be heard . Once closed, silence. Had a good sleep. Breakfast was surprisingly good with fresh fruit, salad and yoghurts. Other traditional breakfast food available too. Breakfast coffee isn't great but the coffee served in the bar area is. Room available for luggage.

The worst customer service ever anywhere. Their cancellation policy reflects their meager nature. Do not book this hotel even if it is they have the last room available in the entire city. Not worth it. You're better off staying at the park.
