We stayed here 22nd Sept till 27th Sept. The hotel was easy to find on google maps as we were driving from Vichy. I went to check in and find out where the car park was while my husband waited in the car outside. We parked the car which was very secure under the hotel and made our way to our room (259) Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was small and I agree with other reviews the bathroom is tiny but was adequate for what we needed and that was literally just a cheap (ish) hotel for sightseeing in the city. We did not spend much time in the room at all. However, when we were in the hotel room there was a lot of noise from the cleaners talking and shouting at each other first thing on a morning. So loud!! We were right near their meeting room. This happened every morning 7am ish so don’t expect a lie in, and on the morning we were checking out they didn’t start till 9/9.30 am but we were up early to check out that morning anyway! My husband did go out and shout back at them to tell them to be quiet or to at least close their meeting room door and she was very apologetic. We only ate at the hotel for breakfast once and paid extra for this. The guy said card only and we said no we have cash and said it doesn’t matter and walked away and then he shouted well you can pay cash at reception so that’s what we did! It was quite basic. There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel which we much preferred and were cheaper. The hotel bar was OK for a drink or two before bed. One night there was a karaoke on so not sure if this is a regular thing that they may have on themed nights. Overall a great stay for location and easy access to all city sights.

Great central hotel for your visit to Paris. Clean, comfortable, and quiet - at a reasonable price. Rooms are small but very comfortable and quiet. Just off a very busy main square, the IBIS is peaceful but has easy access to trains, taxis, and buses. Fun, comfortable neighborhood has great patisseries (ARTISANAL PATISSERIE) and restaurants (PEPEGUSTO Italian).

Probably being generous with my rating, more a 3.5* but here goes. Stayed here for a city break for 4 nights, we were apprehensive when reading reviews if we made a good choice. The hotel itself is a 2 minute walk from Cambronne Station - transfer time from CDG airport is approx 1 hour. Get the RER B to Denfert Station then switch onto Metro line 6 - cost is €12. Hotel reception area is quite quirky and spacious. Lots of vending machines about. Bar area is just off the main reception, it was never really busy during our visit. We never ate in the hotel so can’t comment on food. Our room was small but it was clean and that’s all that matters, beds were made each day and towels changed. Again bathrooms are small and so is the shower but we were only using it for a base, not a luxury stay. We really enjoyed the area around the hotel, beside is at the roundabout is a number of restaurants, we ate in Royal Cambronne which was good. Opposite hotel front door is a number of takeaways including Domino’s all just a few mins walk and a wee shop which was useful. To right of main door is a little patisserie which was superb. We felt the hotel was an excellent place to use as a base to explore Paris. 15mins walk takes you to the tower. Metro line 6 is a great line. You can be at the tower stop in 5 mins on this for €2.15. If you decide to go past it, the view is amazing looking at the tower and get off at Trocadéro stop which brings you out facing the tower. To summarise, this is a basic hotel but it’s definitely worth considering if you want out of main city and use it as a base to explore Paris.
