This is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location, close to the Piazzale Roma bus terminal, water bus stops, and the railway station. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its proximity to the bus station, as we had an early flight on our departure day, and it worked perfectly for that. Our room was lovely and included a small balcony. Although we didn’t have much interaction with the staff, everyone we encountered seemed friendly, professional, and welcoming. There is a nice bar area where you can sit and relax while overlooking the Ponte dei Tolentini bridge and the canal, which was a great spot to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast room backs onto the Giardini Papadopoli landscaped gardens, making for a very pleasant start to the day. We travelled in January, but I imagine that in the summer months the large doors would be opened onto the patio and gardens, which would be a beautiful setting to enjoy breakfast.

We had an exceptional stay at Papadopoli Venice and left genuinely sad to go. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the train station and perfectly positioned for exploring Venice, which is such a wonderfully walkable city. As Accor Platinum members, we were delighted to receive a generous upgrade to a beautifully decorated room featuring a charming balcony. It was a lovely space to relax and soak in the atmosphere of the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of high‑quality options, and the housekeeping team was impeccable, providing thoughtful turn‑down service each evening. All in all, this was a true 5‑star experience from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were genuinely sad to leave. Highly recommended.
