We spent a long weekend at Hotel Mercure Omaha Beach, exploring the Normandy coast. The location is great: close to Omaha Beach, Port Au Bessin, and St Laurent. Gold Beach, St mere eglise and Cherbourg are a easy ride away. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Restaurant was good. Staff of hotel was very helpful. Good location. Event on Sunday was good, although we booked for wine and beer and never received the beer. Rooms were comfortable but could be upgraded. Found a dirty pair of socks under the drapes. Do not know who long they were there.

The hotel stay was lovely, but I was charged twice for my booking. I sent called the hotel and then sent an email requesting a refund. I hope that it happens quickly.
