Very convenient for trade show. Nice location on Darling Harbour. Room had all I needed and was clean. The Internet worked. Staff was generally helpful. On previous visits I've been lucky and have been able to check in early, but not this time. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and reasonably priced.

Dear Management Team of Novotel Darling Harbour Sydney I hope this letter finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to stay at your establishment, Novotel Sydney , and I wanted to share my feedback with you regarding my experience. While I appreciate the effort put into ensuring a comfortable stay, there were some aspects of my visit that left me less than satisfied. Firstly, I would like to address the issue of customer service. While I understand that the demands on your staff can be high, I believe that a more personalized and attentive approach could greatly enhance the overall guest experience. I felt that the level of service lacked the warmth and personal touch that I have come to expect from Novotel. My disappointment extended to the breakfast experience as well. The quality of the hot food left much to be desired, and I found myself waiting for over 10 minutes for some food items (eg eggs) It felt like the breakfast lacked the genuine care and attention to detail that one might associate with good old-fashioned hospitality especially on entry for first time for breakfast - virtually no guidance what so ever that felt like a glorified food hall fist fight - grab any seat find your own way around basically that I was somewhat gobsmacked hence why I didn’t return following day. Burger I purchased for dinner Tuesday night with price tag $27 dollars was very overpriced that was served with stone cold chips that ì shouldn’t have even payed for! Position of hotel was perfect and coffee barista was on song & bakery items looked appealing and perfect size portion was on offer however people are becoming more health conscious skin on fruit was annoying no table allocation no communication as what and where to go ….hummmm very ordinary to be brutally honest that leaves door open for someone else sit at your table whilst topping your plate up . Condition of my room was less than ideal. The room had a musty smokey smell and lacked the inviting ambiance that I typically associate with Novotel properties. Brighter lighting and improved ventilation could go a long way in creating a more pleasant atmosphere for guests & perhaps bottle of water seriously come one guys ? Lastly, I encountered a communication issue at the reception desk. I was provided with misinformation regarding the availability of my room, which caused some confusion and inconvenience. It's crucial for your team to ensure that accurate information is communicated to guests, as this greatly impacts their overall experience. I believe in the potential of Novotel to offer exceptional stays, and I offer these comments in the spirit of constructive feedback. I hope that you will take my observations into consideration as you continue to strive for excellence in guest satisfaction. Thank you for your attention to these matters, and I look forward to hearing about any improvements or changes you may implement in the future. I trust that my next visit to a Novotel property will reflect the high standards of hospitality that your brand is known for given development currently around you with smorgasbord of accommodation available on offer. I have lived & breathed hospitality for over 30 years and this information I’m sharing is a quiet wake-up call in a positive constructive manner to the ones whom can implement drastic changes to insure this hotel retains a long prosperous and flourishing business success over years ahead in darling harbour. Fantastic family stay! Lovely room overlooking the harbour, and lots fir the kids to do with tennis and table football. The staff went above and beyond setting up a special treat for both kids on arrival! Thank you Andrew for arranging this!! Great breakfasts and bar and lounge for the parents after a big day sight seeing.

Couldnt check in until 3pm. The day is nearly over by then and checkout is around 10am. First room had no air conditioner and was told no other room was available. However after advising them of a medical condition was moved to another room. Regardless of a medical condition if the room is not as advertised. Eg no air conditioner the hotel should change rooms even if it means an upgrade. During the room change was offered free breakfast however considering breakfast was paid for a pretty useless offer. At breakfast was told I had already eaten breakfast. Water in shower was barely luke warm and barely any pressure. Pillows were hard. Probably close tkbthe worst sleep ever at a hotel. If I stay there again in shall be taking and recommend to other's take your own pillow. The air con issue was not limited to my room. Friends staying on the same floor had the same air problem...... Was not worth the $250 a night nor the deposit that was charged to my card for a paid room....

Great food and service at the restaurant -The Ternary. Good on you, Jess! Jess was a mind reader and knew exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious based on her recommendations. The room had great views. The cocktails delicious.
